I need some help with these aspects.I think I understand the mathematical, technical side but I would like to know how they manifest themselves. For instance I have sun quintile moon which apparently is a somewhat positive aspect,if activated....or something like that. And mercury inconjunct neptune,a minor aspect which I think annuls every other aspect mercury has in my chart, even the major ones. Are they integrating or separating aspects?

quintile and biquintile indicate creative talent, gift in some area

quincunx indicate a tension that can lead a person to make an adjustment.

It is also considered a health aspect according to medical astrologers. Quincunxes can indicate potential health issues.

the waxing quincunx corresponds with Virgo,6th house

the waning quincunx corresponds with Scorpio,8th house

I see...well I know the world is not just black and white but one could say quintiles and biquintiles are rather positive while quincunxes are...negative(?) aspects, isn't it?

quote:
Sun quintile Moon
Your parents probably had a stormy relationship, full of both conflict and creative solutions. Your need for security may be frequently thwarted by your need to learn, grow and achieve. You are probably highly creative, and often restless and dissatisfied with your life as it is. You need to take risks to feel fully alive, and yet the risks may scare you. If the sun is stronger than the moon in your chart the need to achieve will usually win out over the need for security, and conversely if the moon is stronger the need for safety and security will tend to dominate.

Mercury quincunx Neptune
Your mind and conversation are strangely separate from your intuitive and spiritual awareness. Communicating about symbolism, mysticism and dreams is very difficult for you, as you tend to feel they have no real relevance or connection with your life. You might be quite intrigued and yearn to understand these feelings and to follow your inner guidance, but find all your efforts to live by intuition to be rather frustrating. Your attempts to bridge the gap between logic and intuition will require frequent adjustments, but the journey is quite enlightening and productive of personal growth.

How is your Mercury aspected? If you have Mercury in easy aspects, that can indicate good articulation.

in contrast, I have a history of speech problems(Dyslexia,Dyspraxia) that required intensive speech therapy in special eduacation in early elementary school

I have Mercury conjunct Venus in 3rd,but they are widely square Mars
also..my Mercury is parallel Venus, but they also parallel Neptune and contraparallel Saturn. Those indicate my speech problems as well as do indicate that I have some ability to be article.......mainly my Mercury conjunct/parallel Venus in 3rd house indicates my articulateness, grace in speech....the conjunction is in Scorpio, and so it's emotional, feeling, psychic oriented which doesn't fit well with Mercury which is the planet of intellect, being rational, objective

yeah...Mercury trine Jupiter and Uranus are good for being very communicative and intelligent as well as innovative, philosophical, progressive thinker

Mercury square Saturn and Pluto can be deep, practical, penetrating, constructive thinking.

Glaucus I have always thought the mercury-venus conjunction shows a passionate and compassionate speaker.or you express yourself easier when you are calm surrounded by people you trust

in my opinion my inarticulacy on this forum comes from the fact that I'm writing in English which is not my native language and the fact that I am a novice when it comes to astrology and I am always afraid of saying something stupid

it's all good.

at least you can communicate in more than 1 language. I can only communicate in 1,and I wouldn't have been able to do that if it wasn't for getting special help in early childhood.

I don't believe anything is stupid

the only thing that I believe is stupid is namecalling, insults, and being a jerk.

people of all astrological knowledge levels are here, and so please feel comfortable communicating here.

Overall,it's a great forum. A lot of cool people....most of all, they are very openminded. I love all the asteroid astrology posts with my love of asteroids. hahahaha

so sit back and enjoy the fun....there is lots of it.

peace

Raymond

I was thinking about these aspects just the other day. I knew they signified something to do with creativity but that's it.

I have:

Sun quintile Juno and biquintile MC
Moon biquintile Pluto
Mercury quintile Mars and biquintile Uranus
Mars quintile Uranus
Jupiter quintile Saturn
Neptune biquintile Ceres

And I really have to clue how to interpret them.

I also have several quincunxes, one of which is Moon quincunx Neptune. I read recently that this signifies infertility in medical astrology.

Interesting topic
