It's strange that some time back, Barack Obama's birth certificate appeared for political reasons, and now the same has happened to John McCain's birth certificate.I have my doubts about it, though. For example, it gives McCain a Pisces ascendant. Does that seem likely? Anyway, here's my interpretation of his corrected horoscope: http://www.horoscoper.net/horoscopes/johnmccain-horoscope.htm I no longer find as strong indications of his winning the Presidential election as I did on the previous horoscope. But compared to Obama's horoscope, he is still the most likely winner, as far as I can see. Maybe the election is for some reason not settled at Election day? A rerun Florida thingy? Anyway, the result is not that certain.

Dear Lalalinda, Many thanks for your kind words, brightening my day Please be a bit wary about McCain's horoscope. Although I've seen the documentation posted on the internet, I have my small doubts about the birth time.

I wonder if anyone is going to bring up the fact that Colon, PANAMA wasn't considered to be U.S. territory, at least when he was born. Are people going to scream about him not being American like they did to Obama? So, I guess that's 2 October surprises so far, Obama suspending his campaign for 2 days to visit his ill grandmother and McCain being born in Colon. Hmm... IP: Logged |

McCain is a Pisces rising? He's very blunt, so I would've thought he had an Aries rising or something like that.IP: Logged |

Yes, his ascendant is Pisces, and in a very close opposition to his sun at the cusp of the 7th House. That would make him quite different in the eyes of his partner, and his marriage would be the most important thing in his life - especially since also Neptune, Venus and Mercury are in the same House. Again, that's not the impression I have of John McCain.About Colon at the time of his birth, I have also read that it was not regarded as US soil. Some internet sites discussing it say that there was some kind of decision later to make all Colon born natural born US citizens retroactively, but I wonder if that is really allowed in the Constitution...

panama is not U.S. territory but he was born on a military base, i believe, which IS considered US soil. doesn't the 9am chart make him a 12th house sun? which bears certain resemblances to pisces...i'll go with the original one i think...he just doesn't come across at all as a pisces asc//IP: Logged |

I checked the transits for October 26, 1967, when he became a POW in Vietnam. Pluto was about to pass over his Venus, and with the 6:25 PM horoscope, that's in the 7th House, which makes no sense. The 9:00 AM horoscope makes this happen in the 12th House, which makes a lot of sense. In the 9:00 AM horoscope, his sun is in the 11th House (Equal Houses), which is a good indication of a statesman.------------------ Stefan Stenudd www.horoscoper.net IP: Logged |

Astra, the reasons for his perceived bluntness by the public (us) might be because of his MC in Sagittarius.IP: Logged |

I agree that Libra rising seems to be more in line with his appearance. Do you base that on the 9:00 AM birth time? Unfortunately, as far as I know it is not confirmed. Also, it's obviously imprecise.Has there been any questioning of the birth certificate claiming his birth at 6:25 PM?

What time is it in the US (I know there's multiple time zones) but it seems that the election was conceded pretty quickly by McCain. Polls closed at 6pm right? IP: Logged |

This trend continues:Every time the Redskins (Washington D.C.'s team in American Football) lose the home game before a presidential election, the incumbent political party loses. Likewise, each time the Redskins have won, the incumbent party remains in office. It has happened EVERY election since the team began in Washington D.C. in 1937... it has happened 18 times without fail. The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Washington Redskins last night, and with tradition, the incumbent Republican Party has been defeated by a Democrat for the presidency. IP: Logged |

That's what I thought, too.The time depends on where you are in the U.S. Here in California on the west coast it's 8:23. IP: Logged |

How bizaare, I've heard of litmus electorates but not this! Didn't they say that the first electorate in Maryland (can't remember the name) decided results your time yesterday and swung Democat? They said it wasn't Dem since 1968. IP: Logged |

Yeah, and Washington D.C. is of course the capitol of the United States... very interesting coincidence, isn't it?23- I'm not aware of Maryland politics, but I spent the past year in Virginia (the next state south of Maryland) and I could see how liberal it was becoming, and I'm glad to see it went Democrat for the first time since Lyndon Johnson in 1964.
