Topic: venus mars conjunction..........again

When a couple who have been in a relationship and have had a mars/venus conjunction (in scorpio and the female having the venus), would they still hold a torch for each other years after they break up and is it a lasting attraction due to the intensity that this aspect brings? Or would it simply fizzle out and both get over each other?For example;(taking into account that the split as due to moving to different cities) 4 years down the line after they split up, they bump into each other and this is the first contact since the split. Would there be an instant attraction and feelings of wanting each other be triggered off again? what do you guys think? IP: Logged |

I have this with a friend of mine of 14 years. He's Mars, I'm Venus, and it's conjunct one way, trining the other way. There was always a really, really strong attraction and that kind of 'holding the torch' thing happening with us, though I was never sure I wanted an intimate relationship with him.
However, the feelings and intensity of the attraction are still really strong. We just started talking again after 5 years of no contact, and ZAP!- it's still there.
There's probably other stuff in the synastry though that contributes... don't know.IP: Logged |

I dont think that any one aspect could ever ensure such a lasting attraction. It would have to be a combination of aspects which indicate attraction. I had a venus- mars conjucntion with my ex-boyfriend (me being venus). And there were even additional attraction factors in synastry like his mars in my 8th house, mine in his 1st. Lots and lots of pluto aspects. But although the breakup was diffcult, today I really couldnt care less bumping into him. Definitely not carrying a torch of him or vice versa.IP: Logged |

Matt, I'm not sure. I think if the venus involved happens to rule the person's eight house, but the mars person has a more neutral house affected, I think the venus person would feel love, but also more passion than the mars person.Not sure. IP: Logged |

Is that how you feel about the Venus person? I've been wondering how the Mars person really feels in that aspect... I know a guy who's Mars conjuncts my Venus in Cancer (in the 8th house) and the physical attraction I feel towards him is pretty hard to ignore. (But we also have some pluto stuff going on, so not sure if the attraction "only" has to do with that conjunction.) And yep, I can also relate to the "hold a torch for each other" thingy... ------------------

Yes I have this with my current beau.We stopped talking for 4 years and he hated me passionately. Ran into each other, instantly rekindled, it's been perfect since.. My Venus conjunct his Mars (both in Scorpio) ------------------

So the Venus and Mars person feel pretty much the same in a conjunction?  Or is that also because of my 8th house Venus, his Pluto square my Venus, my Pluto trine his Mars, etc.?deuxchantress - Yep, you're also right. ------------------

i think so! well, we have a lot of venus stuff in synastry and composite, so that might contribute, but he's the venus and i'm the mars and we were together 6 years ago briefly.. have hardly seen one another since.. but started talking a few months ago, and YUP!! it's still there, strong! it feels really good!IP: Logged |
