Today I turned 30 but instead of looking forwards I'm feeling quite dispirited and confused. I recently had my Saturn Return in the Second House, so can I blame that? I read that Saturn is supposed to solidify things and make one more motivated, but I'm still unsure of where I'm heading in life - what I want to do for work, whether I want children or not in the future. I've yet to get my sh*t together. I'm a lazy Libra for sure.

However most people I know who have moved into their thirties seem to have gotten themselves sorted out, they're wiser, married, got a career; so I do feel like I'm in the minority - my Leo Ascendant got something to do with it perhaps? And I don't feel 30, I feel 16! I'm really just a big kid at heart and I've been single for years.

It would be great if you could take a look at my chart and share your thoughts. My dob is 22 October 1978, 12:30am, London, England. Any future predictions would be great too!

Best regards,

Miss Mystic

Happy Birthday!

I think it's normal to feel "not excited" when someone turns 30, especially if they don't know where they are heading in life. The good thing is you are aware that you have to get your act together. Sit down, think and use this period to define what you really want to do, set realistic goals (long-term and short-term) and then work towards attaining them. The feeling of excitement can be generated just by looking forward to the future.

Prediction:
My crystal ball says you'll be fine.

Happy 30th Birthday!!

About this:

That's your perception. They may not feel the same way. Don't let your perception make you feel inferior or less "sorted". I have seen many a marriage fall apart since I turned 30, that looked just dandy from the outside, to my mind. You are doing your thing, they are doing their's. No better or worse. In this respect age is just a number. I feel one of the things I got clearer in my head since my Saturn return is that you should not try to mould yourself to anybody's expectations other than your own. Because your perception of others' expectations might be wrong too!

What do you feel happy doing? What interests you? Live your life as if nobody is looking!

Happy Birthday Mysticr

I second what deux said. I felt similar when I turned 30. It just has to do with a realisation that you're at a certain point in your life and it's exentuated if you aren't doing things that make you happy. On the upside, it gives you the drive to find and do those things that bring you happiness and love.

I agree with Diandra. 30's rock actually. You start not giving a toss. Very liberating.

awww....happy birthday! I must say, 30's rock. I enjoyed my 30's way more than my 20's and that my friend is the truth. Maybe I was a late bloomer, but I didn't really come into myself until my 30's...truly the prime of your life!

wheels is right.

You find yourself in your 30s. Become comfortable in who you are, your skin, your sexuality - everything. All those insecurities go. You care more about how much you like yourself than how much others like you. It's a good time. Revel in it.
