How many degrees of an ascendant (ex 24 degrees of leo) would you be to take on characteristics of the next ascendant?

I am 24 degrees leo, but I swear I have more virgo tendencies.

You don't. The Ascendant is in Leo like it's supposed to be. There's no such thing as a carry-over.

At least we agree on something Sei. You traditionalists are not totally inept.

Maybe if your ascendant is aspected directly by other planets it can effect you, plus if you have any planets in the first house?

Wow, Saturn square ascendant...that sounds stern and authoritative. Mine tries it, but I think it's offset by my Mars in the first house (conjunct asc.)
Do you think people see you as stern/withdrawn at all? Or maybe they would look up to you in some way?
I'd think that Saturn on the ascendant would make someone rather 'Spartan' with their surroundings...i.e., no clutter, hating messy environments, etc..because it's like a distraction.
