OK So I'm looking at Jupiter returns in my chart today and i found these:

Jupiter Return #1 --> 1/3/1994, Rx 4/25/1994, Direct 9/3/1994 [mother's death 8/31/1994]
Jupiter Return #2 --> 12/14/2005, Rx 6/6/2006, Direct 8/5/2006 [daughter's birth 6/16/2006]

for both of these, Jupiter returned to its natal position 3 times: original return, retrograde motion, and then back again after the retrograde. It so happens that I have it in Scorpio in the 4th, and both of these events occured between the pts of the 2nd conjunction as it was retro and the 3rd as it was again direct. 4th being the mother in my case i guess and scorpio being life death, apparently in my chart...The curious thing is that on my 3rd return the retro motion will not hit my natal point, only once this time direct in its trajectory.

Any one else notice anything similar? Of course my paranoid self thinks either me or my daughter will pass on the next return..but im wondering now if those life-changing events were as a result of the retrograde passing over the chart versus a single direct motion return? Am i being confusing

Wait, I'm confused ... so your mother died on the first Jupiter return and your daughter was born on the second one?
I'm a little creeped out because I'm about to get my own Jupiter return in a couple of months, conjunct my Midheaven...
Whatever you've got there, it sounds like....something big!

well I mentioned that my Jupiter is in Scorpio in the 4th..so any Jupiter return will most likely mimic that interplay that those 2 principles have, because thats in my chart.

Yours will most likely be a lot different, youll have Jupiter in a different sign and house. If you reply i could state some of the possibilities.

The question actually was whether these life-changing events were as a result of the return going over the natal placement 3 times, thus, does a retrograde return have more energy/force than a regular direct motion return? If anyone knew? Thanks

Aquarius = friends, technology, astrology, ideals, logic, detachment, brotherly love, political action
10th = most likely the father [but possibly the mother], career, aspirations, success "out there", business, recognition, becoming known for something, reputation

so these are the principles that you have for your jupiter, and they can be combined in any which way to symbolize what it means for you now, as in where you get luck and good hunches, and what it can mean for you in the future, as in when your jupiter returns to its natal position. so, if you start a business with your friends, this wall fall under the aquarius/10th dynamic. others you can make up as you go: becoming well-known for inventing something, becoming serious about political action, having a reputation for being an eccentric/genius [this can be good], etc. This is what your Jupiter will most easily relate to. So something in this vein will most likely occur at the jupiter return and it will be a positive thing for you.
