I could have had transiting Pluto and transiting Neptune in 12th to look forward to. Fortunately, I should be dead by then.

I could have had transiting Uranus, Neptune and Pluto conjunct a planet. Fortunately, I should be dead or senile by then.

Ok, so tUranus will hit my last quadrant at 54, and that's still young, right? Generally, yes, but I'll be lucky to make it to 40, so trust me... I'll be senile or dead by then.

Also, I could have had transiting Neptune square my 12th house tenants (Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto) AGAIN, but fortunately I should be dead by then.

Like Neptune and Pluto, some planets take too long to return in our lifetimes, but Pluto conjunct Pluto would have been a pleasure for me if my natal Pluto was in 1st, 3rd or 11th, so I'm just feeling lucky that my natal Pluto in 12th will never get worse.

oh, hold on! It squares and opposes itself though so maybe there's nothing to be grateful for, come to think of it. But, I'll be grateful for tPluto trine nSun, nVenus, nMercury, nMars and nJupiter while I can still enjoy it.

I wish I could've had an empty 12th house to be grateful for.

But anyway, let's count our astro blessings and highlight the few good things that happened on our day of birth.

what transit are you grateful to experience (or never experience) in your lifetime?

Unless you live until 2092, you won't experience your Pluto opposition

Zala- that then goes in my list of things for which I'm grateful.

Edit. The retrogrades save me, right?

And I like to think of Pluto sq Pluto as a time of the consolidation of one's personal emotional Progress -- all your old unnecessary (but familiar and comfy) ways of being are stripped away if you haven't already bid them adieu and dropped them from the structure of your life.....

Nothing "awful" happened during my square, and I grew and learned. I'm not saying it wasn't difficult -- there were challenges. But Pluto/Pluto was *NOTHING* compared to, say, Pluto/Sun or Pluto/Moon. I have Pluto/Venus coming up (Venus at 02Lib11) -- I don't really remember any huge events with the conj to my natal Venus -- I was involved in my first serious relationship (we were even engaged), but I broke it off because I wasn't ready to settle down with one man yet.....

Hard Pluto transits don't necessarily mean a literal death. They can also mean a figurative death. Transformation, elimination, and regeneration. Definitely increased intensity as well as possible power issues and psychological confrontations. It can be a profound spiritual experience. It can also be sexual too. It also can be a time of emotional trauma. It can be intense soul evolutionary lessons.

Like the death card in the tarot deck doesn't necessarily mean literal death but the aforementioned things.

Transiting Pluto is in Capricorn in my 4th is squaring my Pluto in Libra in 1st. I know that I am not going to die. If was going to die,I wouldn't be afraid because I believe in life after death including reincarnation. With my mom's health problems with Diabetes,I do wonder about my mom though. Transiting Pluto is conjuncting her Descendant/opposing her Ascendant. My Pluto squares her Ascendant in 0'12 Cancer, and so we have shared experience Pluto transit.

Unmoved, I just really liked what you wrote in another thread, so dropping it here:

I just want to be taken care of for once and I keep on attracting people who need my help. I want a man who is healing just like I am. Not someone who is still in denial, in need of a saviour or someone who still wants to act out dramas from his part. I don't want to help anymore. I don't want to be the one who makes them see. I just want to love. This pattern is the biggest challenge I've ever had.

I mean that due to the retrograde periods, it takes longer for Pluto to oppose itself than it would were it going direct all the way through or is there another reason why it takes that long to move approx115o on my chart? 25o in Aries.

What's confusing me here? Why do I think it will take a lesser period of time for Pluto to spend in each house? Do I have it's orbit wrong?

Glaucus- death sounds better than that. just kidding. Your version is a much better perspective than the one I had.

I guess I should be grateful for my Jupiter return coming up, where Jupiter conjunct my Midheaven as it does in my chart...but I'm kinda creeped out about getting too excited, because I think I have some gnarly Pluto thingie that's going to be happening too...

Pluto's been squaring my sun and natal Pluto in this transit. NOT a happy camper. And then there's Saturn's annoying placement on my sun, messing with my love life...next, after August 2009, he'll be scooting his prissy old butt over to my 6th next, to screw around with my stellium and bug me out a little more.

Oops...I guess that doesn't sound too grateful...lol

I often think of stuff like that

Unfortunately it doesn't make me feel better about the stuff I have to deal with in the next while.
