I was wondering if anyone would like to share their thoughts and feelings on pisces rising. It's hard for me to look at myself and say which of my quirky habits are a result of pisces on house 1. On of the little things that annoy me is labeling. I get really frusterated and angry when someone stereotypes me, or categorieses me in any way. I find that to be a really limiting way of seeing people, and if I were to believe those labels, I'd have put myself in a box. I also have a tendancy to wander around my house with one sock on, one sock off, which boggles most peoples mind. The only other person I've ever met to have one sock on and one sock off and not even notice was also pisces rising. The only other thing I can think of is I've loved water since I was a baby. My mom literally saved my life more than once between the ages of 1 and 3 because I felt an urge to leap into large bodies of water.

What have you guys noticed about pisces rising? And is there anything we're good at besides locking our keys in our car?

That's a lot of mutable energy you've got going on.

Flexible and able to adapt to the changing circumstances of the world. Pisces Rising is intuitive and able to pickup on the ambience of their environments. At it's best is compassionate, and good at multi-tasking.

If it helps any, I am Gemini Sun with Pisces I.C. My house is a chaotic pile of books and papers, and I keep mislaying my keys when I change coats and bags. I also have Neptune in the 1st house. Sometimes people think I'm a bit dippy, but I'm not really. I know what's going on. It's just easy to forget the odd thing when there your mind is focusing on several things at the same time. Housework isn't at the forefront of mind, same thing for you and sartorial symmetry.

LOL@ wandering with one sock on, one sock off...endearing image regardless

My ex husband is Pisces rising (Gemini moon too)...loved the water, loves fishing. Complete space cadet without the suit I'd ask a question, and he'd answer 10 minutes later, after I'd left the room...
I would definitely say that Pisces rising frustrated me in the past because it didn't always feel emotionally present (just from my experiences), but off elsewhere. There's a definite ideal, and if things become somehow less than perfect, they swim away.

But Pisces rising can be extremely kind and forgiving. It can give unconditionally, without question. There's a compassion there I haven't seen in other rising signs.

Pisces asc is so sweet and affable and self-conscious.

As a scorpio, I love pisces rising. I'm actually attracted to that watery dreamy look. And they're so sensitive and oh so dreamy!

I'm not a Pisces Rising, but I do have Jupiter and Neptune in the 1st House. And a lot of people, close friends and not-so-close friends see me as a little "odd" or different as most like to say. haha. i can't relate to the one sock on thing, which is quite interesting i might add. But I can relate to "blue moon" in the fact that i keep losing my keys...even if they are in my bag. haha! foreal... i carry so much crap ("that i might need, just in case") that when i put them in my bag... i lose them. lol. And i've been called "dazed & confused" i think it's b/c I look like i'm "lost" sometimes. It's weird... i can't really tell what people see, maybe their just weird. and I'm not big on housework either. i should be doing that now actually. :P

and i can relate to what MyVirgoMask wrote about her ex-husband. That I'll be with a few people just hanging out and if I'm thinking of something or someone or maybe i'm actually day dreaming... but they'll have to ask me again, cuz it's like i didnt hear them or pay attention to what they were saying. it's kinda weird... hehe. i don't care. i like me.

I know two fire suns- Aries and Leo with Pisces rising. It kind of dilutes the fieryness, but I really get along well with both of them, especial the Aries, she also has Virgo moon! I think I get along with Pisces in general because I have neptune in the first house, and pisces moon as well.

I am a Pisces AC with a Scorp Sun. But what was said earlier is true, I am not a good Scorp. I don't hold grudges and I get fooled by people who give me sob stories. But I always feel that even if there was 1% truth in what they say they must not suffer due to my lack of help.
This guy I love, he rejected me 5 years back, I still call him on his birthday to wish him. And when he makes any gesture of kindness I am over the moon, I get equally crushed when he withdraws( he is a libra Sun, gem AC). Still, stupid me, I hope that one fine day he realizes that no one could love him like I do and he would fall madly in love with me. Guess that is my blind spot. And my neptune dreamer coming to the fore.We Pisces are ever hopefuls.

Pisces is the natural ruler of feet. I guess it makes some kind of sense to not wear one sock and have your foot exposed.

Im Aqua rising and wear odd socks. It is odd, yes. Case closed.

Start with Aries and the head, going round each sign getting further down and you will end with Pisces which is feet.
Scorpio is around the middle of the zodiac and will be your...middle bits.

How funny LOL im like this sometimes and everyone hates it when i get in this mood because i totally ignore people when i have better things to think about. Its kinda selective hearing and my gemini moon gets bored with everyday topics and im probably tryna do 2 things at once but im always taking information in.

I have moon in gemini MC opposing neptune IC

I hate other space cadets though :P

My best friend has gemini sun and gemini moon with pisces rising shes not a space cadet though shes just a really nice girl.

space cadet?.... thats me. It's not uncommon to see me rushing around at a blistering pace, seemingly oblivious to all life around me, then suddenly see a really cool rock or something, stop dead in my tracks and stare... luckily my friends do a great job keeping me grounded. It's usually something really simple and mundane that launches me into a daydream, it confuses people

True about the compassion. It's a really great thing but can easily become irrational, which is tricky for a guy to deal with today. When I was a kid I used to get beat up and kicked around for saving small animals from the kids who were getting kicks out of blowing them up. I'm never someone to start a fight but nothing gets me into a frenzie then seeing something weak like a frog get exploited.

That's really odd...

With the time of birth he gave me, my dad is a Pisces rising. I always wondered about that....

As a boy he rescued a dog that had been thrown in a dustbin. I think his brother told me that story. He brought it home and his mother had a fit because it was mangy and covered in fleas.

He still gets upset recalling how animals were treated in that part of the world at that time. This was back in the '50s, but not in his home country (Ireland).

Lol, reminds me of the time I tried to save a baby bird when I was six years old.

I was walking around near some trees next to my house and I heard some high-pitched screeches. I looked around and found a baby bird on the ground with a broken wing. I became very excited by the idea of saving this little guys life I scooped him up and began running home as fast as I could. As I was running I stumbled a little bit and the little fella bounced out of my hand, landed on the grass, and BAM! my foot sandwiched him into the ground!

I felt really horrible that day..

and actually socks really arn't that important to me, I dont really care for shoes much either. What can I say? I like feeling the earth on my feet..
