My ex-husband had it and he oozed sex appeal. He also had a tendency of over-complicating sex and love and didn't know how to integrate it into his personal life. I had a friend with the same aspect, and she had a similar problem/gift with the sex appeal. It's a sexy aspect, but I think it might not be easy for the person having it...just my experience. Yes, I remember talking to my ex after we divorced about intimacy in general, and he was talking about how he had a hard time being close to anyone in general (including me). His exact words were, "Everything is complicated, and this sex and love stuff is never, ever easy."It was like Pluto square Venus talking to me LOL. Poor guy I have another guy I dated with an opposition instead of a square, and he was similar. Also really magnetic. I guess it's almost like they pay the price for it on some level! IP: Logged |

My boyfriend has his venus (leo) square his pluto (scorpio). Already with the pluto in scorpio singleton in his chart his is extremely intense and magnetic. And with the venus/pluto square I think it makes him very very desirable to women. And all the leo in his chart (sun, merc, venus and mars) loves the attention. This is probably whatdrives me crazy! I knew him even before we started dating, and I was always quite impressed by how many admirers he had..younger women, older women..all types. He's quite the ladies man..which worries me..(scorpio paranoia ) I was wondering if this square produces a lot of difficulty in distinguishing and dealing with issues of sex and love. Because pluto is the sexual planet..and venus is the planet of love, how we love and express love. Could this be an aspect of someone who uses sex as a weapon or just generally has intimacy issues?IP: Logged |

" and he was talking about how he had a hard time being close to anyone in general (including me). And yes I have a Venus-Pluto-square (3° orb) with Venus in Capricorn). I really tend to see the complicated heavy side of love. I`m not attractive though; neither sexy nor magnetic. WEll, it`s great, I get the shadow part, but not the good side (attraction and so on). lol IP: Logged |

"Could this be an aspect of someone who uses sex as a weapon or just generally has intimacy issues?"this is what most cook-books say, but it's not really that 'dark', or that simple. the whole sexual profile counts, of course (houses 2, 5 and 8; Moon; Venus; Mars; rulers, aspects, teh works). in an otherwise fine sexual profile it can just mean no casual sex; doing it only with people who 'count' and giving it some importance in the development of the relationship (for instance, not someone who'd start a rel by having sex on the first date; or someone who'd consider that it is a 'big deal' when sex enters the relationship - that the relationship and the commitment have advanced further). ------------------ Aqua Asc, Cap Sun-Venus, Sco Moon-Uranus, Sag Mercury-Neptune Leo Mars

My recent affair was with a guy who has this square 1 deg (Venus in Aquarius, Pluto in Scorpio) and we share the Pluto conjunct Venus 1 degree in synastry, and his Pluto is also square his Mars. So as you can imagine it's very intense and not in a fun way anymore..the attachment is really hard on me and he IS the guy who uses sex as manipulation and control. I think that is his Venus square Pluto talking. He is so detached and cold and distant yet he lingers and keeps me hooked, he seems possessive but is too proud to admit it. He has told me this relationship and relationships in general are "too much" . I think he is afraid of the intensity of his feelings.Anyway bottom line I think this guy personifies Pluto square Venus in the natal chart. It's not easy for them. ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon Mercury:: Sagittarius Venus::Scorpio Mars::Pisces IP: Logged |

I recently dated a gemini/scorpio moon pisces ascendant guy. who has venus in leo in the 5th house. his venus square pluto, plus Moon and Pluto in the 8th, @_@ this guy IS magnetic. It was kind of a love at first sight thing. sex was a big deal to him. he wanted it all the time and it was I who found the importance in not having sex on the first date, etc. He's had one night stand(s) not sure how many. My boyfriend has Venus (Aquarius) square Pluto (Scorpio), with Mars opposite Pluto and square Venus! He's drop dead sexy (Ive mentioned it before several times). In his eyes, sex is the most intimate thing you can do with someone (I disagree), and it's very much tied to love with him. He only has sex with girls he either loves or wants to love. So he gives me crap for having had one night stands in the past. IP: Logged |

venus/pluto people learn at an early age that love and heartbreak go together, i think. they hardly ever get involved in casual affairs and i would guess it is their intensity that magnetizes people. also their lack of interest in any one who is not deeply magnetic to them. love and loss, not an easy row to hoe. my daughter has the opposition but both venus and pluto square her moon too, so she has a hard time of it with relationships. possessive? yes. intense? yes. loyal? yes. all to a fault. the other thing about venus/pluto is a tendency to attract dangerous (physically or emotionally or both) partners...not for everyone i'm sure but it is a definite pattern. but most of all the intensity. this does not equal sexy to everyone, mind you!! Lalinda and Diandra, thank you. That was very nice of you. On Venus-Pluto: I would agree with the thought that it signifies intensity more than sexyness, and in my case it would be just impossible for me to have a casual affair. No matter that I have Moon in Aqua and a stellium in Sagittarius; it`s never easy. IP: Logged |

Hi Guys, I have venus opposed pluto and would have to agree with nearly all that you are saying. I am extremely intense when feelings develop with someone, but I wont let them know for quite a while, I am possesive and jealous, but without question seriously loyal. Have never had a one night stand and dont think I would ever, would have to be seeing a guy for a bit before I would consider doing the deed and it was quite late when I lost my virginity, but Im not a square, Im very passionate when I get going. Reflecting on my past long term relationship, I did try and change my ex to fit my criteria, which is appaerently what the opposition can do, manipulation is another thing, which I think I can do subconsiously. I have only just dicovered that I think its this aspect that causes alot of my pain with regards to love, but I thinks Im well aware and have reflected enough for the next relationship, hopefully. Hello, I have venus conjunct mars in Aquarius square Pluto. I feel as though when it comes to love, I definitely am all or nothing. If I feel safe enough to feel then I do so absolutely. If my feelings are hurt I lash back with intensity by simply exiting the situation. Then I seethe on my own. Very unhealthy I know but I am beginning to feel that it may be this influence and I may have to override it by understanding it. Then again I'm Leo ascendant with Sun in 8th house as well which is also a plutonian influence right? Thanks for the thread but does anyone know of a link or thread to T-squares with Venus as the focal point. It's Pluto, venus, mideheaven. *Much Love* Aimee

No, no article, sorry Aimee But what planet is missing in your T-square? The planet which is missing is the 'missing leg' of the t-square. Basically it's like the 3 planets locked in hard aspects together are the ones creating the tsquare and it gets compared to a 3-legged chair. The 'missing' sign is the one which is sometimes also getting acted out. So it looks like you have a fixed t-square? I do as well. I have jupiter at the apex and it's also a singleton IP: Logged |
