This is a great topic. Just a reminder that none of us are all knowing. Sometimes I think everything is destiny, and sometimes I think everything is about choices. Then at times I think astrology especially transists are a bunch of crap, bc they are not 100% accurate, and then I think life is all astrology and how powerful it is. I DEFINITELY do not believe it is all about choices, not completely, but we do have to take some responsilibility in our lives and not point our finger always at fate and/or astrology. At the same time, I have been through, for instance, one particular transit that was not about my choice. Neptune transiting 6th house. This has been going on for a while and I have been in and out of hospitals and doctors offices being misdiagnosed, for not one but several issues. This is not about my choice. I have never been through anything like this in my life. This is only one transit that has affected me a great deal. BUt then there are other transits that I hardly even noticed. I also think we go through some things to learn and be a better person. If we try to avoid these transits then we will not grow and mature. Before I began studying astrology, I would have a problem and think nothing will ever change and feel rather discouraged. Now I realize things change and people change. Situations change. This is life. When you lose something chances are you will be given new things and new ideas. I learned to have faith and keep going. I have a new way of thinking. I was raised in a negative environment. I think my mother has been depressed most of her life and in my early twenties I noticed I carried her traits. I worked hard to go my own route and now I am more positive and that affects her now. Astrology has really helped. Anyway, I believe it is a mixture of fate and choices. Who really knows for sure. We are just people, nothing more, even with this handy tool of astrology. Past lives and reincarnation are part of astrology, they go hand in hand. I am still in the process of accepting this. but I still believe in my religion. Looks like my religion and astrology go hand in hand as well. To be honest we really dont KNOW what happens when we go. We only know that we are in this particular life one time, no matter what happens. Maybe it is not for us to know.

I've been learning about this recently, Lara. I know a lot of people don't agree with it, but I'm seeing the evidence myself when I notice that people I know (including myself) seem to manifest physical problems when there is some thought (or multiple thoughts) that is/are damaging. Also I think that when you feel positive, your immune system gets a huge boost. So that is evidence enough in itself for me...

This is simply how it works -

Your thoughts of 'now' create your feelings of tomorrow which create your reality the day after.

so if you keep your thoughts strictly positive then you feel positive and your life will be positive

works in reverse really well too

The planets / celestial bodies etc don't CAUSE events on earth as such. Rather the movements of the heavens is SYNCRONOUS with events on earth. That is to say our earthly existence is part of a bigger 'picture'. We can read ahead of time celestial aspects and transits and so this gives anyone skilled enough to read it, an indication of future events on earth.
The existence of this SYSTEM is EVIDENCE of a higher design & therefore a devine CREATOR. Though the whole design conforms to a mathematical model it must not just be thought of as a godless mass of particles. The creation of our universe and the interplay between ALL matter can only be described as a miracle. Even though everything in nature has a mathematical explanation haven't you ever wondered how the Moon fits exactly inside the sun when seen from earth? Crazy. What are the odds of that given their distances away from us? And WHY does it fit - not from the point of view of physics, but from a metaphysical perspective.
Those with enough intuition will see past the boundaries of mere 'logic' alone to the sense that things have a far wider purpose than buying the latest clothes to impress your friends, or killing animals to eat their flesh. Our life on earth is simply a phase in the cycle of death and rebirth we are trapped in until we become enlightened. We are in a hell realm, some more severe a realm than others. Some beings on this planet are in the worst hell of all - no respite.
What is life about? Well life as we know it is actually death, or mortality. The purpose of this phase is to neutralise negative karma brought unto ourselves by ourselves and regain our immortality and existence in the ether as spirits, living eternally in bliss. I personally can't wait for that particular 'treat'.
