What exactly are the benefits of having Venus-Neptune aspects in your natal chart? It seems more like a curse for me because people are always running to me and begging me to solve their problems.IP: Logged |

AstraI have Venus quincunx/inconjunct Neptune. This interpretation from AstroWeekly is spot on: quote:

I completely understand. It's just that when I turn down a friend's request for help (I've done this many times before), they ALWAYS fall flat on their face. To this day, most of them have not recovered from their mistakes (they REALLY messed up) and I can't help but feel guilty since I could've helped them and spared them the pain they are currently going through. I guess the problem is that I'm tired of rescuing people, but at the same time I feel guilty when I say no and they end up failing. I can see their full potential--my friends are brilliant, kind and loyal people, but for some reason they just aren't good at making decisions. I know that they have the ability to handle things on their own. It's just a matter of them actually thinking things through more carefully.IP: Logged |

I've never known those aspects to cause people to come to you to solve their problems.I have Venus and Neptune conjunct. I think it's a creative aspect as both planets are associated with creativity. IP: Logged |

I also have this aspect. Venus conjunct Neptune. I don`t feel that people are running to me for help, but other sides of the aspects are very important. I`m very idealistic, and kind for example. This site is very good:

I have Venus parallel Neptune
I also have Neptune square Venus/Midheaven midpoint, Mars square Venus/Neptune midpoint, and Venus semisquare Neptune/Node midpoint
for me...its about being very romantic and idealistic in love and relationships with the capability of being self sacrificing ....have to watch out for mistaking compassion for love....they can get mixed together.
heck..I even have Venus square the asteroid,Compassion too. love also makes me feel inspired so I can write poetry,do art. I want a relationship partner that is spiritually oriented. I need a lot of romance in a relationship....I have to be in love with a woman to be intimate with her. When I am intimate with her,it even increases the feelings. I believe in universal love too. that could be my Moon in Pisces square Neptune though...heh

i got my Venus and Neptune conjunct. people don't come asking for help, but some people come talk to me and i listen, though i'm not sure if i'm necessarily a good listener... also i appear sort of naive, so a few people have taken advantage of. very nasty!i don't know, i kind of thought it can be a good aspect to have in a natal. yea, "creative" aspect. i've studied art for 20 years and have always been involved in artistic activities. I have Venus trine Neptune. I too have everyone coming to me with their problems. You do have to know when to say no, and even if they screw up big time, you have to know that it's not your fault. You had no part in it. Honestly, sometimes certain people learn better when they do fall on their faces. All you can do is support them and stick with them when they do. And really... That's all they need from you. quote:

I have this problem too... Usually it's from the other person's end though. However, I have had that moment of mistaking my own compassion for love... Until the person flew off the handle, reminding me again of how wounded he was and how I was still really just helping him and he really wasn't doing a lot for me... ------------------

I didn't even know there was a Compassion asteroid, but now that I go look at it, it's exactly trine my Neptune and it also trines my Venus, creating a grand trine. Holy crap. Makes sense...
