He has the ability so far to make me melt over and over (sigh)

My ex husband was the complete gentleman in public and at the onset. Cappy sun and Venus and Mercury (that's probably my least favorite placement for Mercury, they say 'should' a lot lol).

Sexually, he was insatiable, so I can't go for the falling short thing. His Venus did square PLuto though, and mine squared his at zero degrees (generational, yeah, but at exact degrees, I would say it was felt strongly). Plus my BLM conjunct his Venus. It was pretty wild (until like the final year of marriage LOL).

These guys do wine and dine, and the more they like you, the more expensive the meals get lol. They want so much to impress and make you feel like a lady. It fed my old-fashioned streak for sure. And they want to show you off to the world, which is why they like that classic look, and the demeanor to go along with it.
I'd describe Capricorn Venus as the gold standard...Cary Grant wearing a Rolex LOL.
That's just sexy to me. Refined quality.

However, they also desire a woman who is, shall we say, able to change masks and be VERY UNlady-like in the bedroom. A nice girl in public, a w*ore in the bedroom, if I may be so blunt. And a mommy in the kitchen if you're feeling ambitious
I've yet to meet a Cappy male (sun and Venus) who hasn't expressed that desire.
It's all good...he didn't feed my mental/intellectual appetite though, which is voracious.

They're more multifaceted than they appear, that's for sure.

"they say 'should' a lot"
LOL

I think it also depends a lot on the natal aspects of their venus. I know two guys with venus in capricorn and you wouldnt think in a million years that they both have the venus in capricorn placement. One is a aqua sun with venus in capricorn opposite saturn. He does come across as quite reserved if not restraint in the romance department. His brother on the other hand also has venus in capricorn, but it's conjunct jupiter. His capricron sun is also conjunct jupiter and I would say he is Mr. Confidence in general, but also when it comes to woman. Dont think this guy knows the word self-doubt.

GemGemGem,

what are your natal placements and would you say you fit that classic look need?

i've dated a good share of venus in capricorns [all with sun in either sadge or aqua never cap]. there definitely is that formality side but they are super horny like someone previous pointed out - but on the surface it had better be proper. i have no prob with that as i also have venus in cap as well as moon. i like em a lot, very sweet.

here's what someone posted regarding the looks they like:

quote:
Venus in capricorn's girlfriends looks like anorectic hangers. Usually with very pale skin and a tragic look on their face, like they've just seen their uncle get hit by a freigh train. High cheekbones is a must! And skinny lips too. Don't show your legs, wear very long dresses and dye your hair black and bob it like they did in the 20ties.

i think the poster wrote it themselves, but i cant remember who or when, but it was on LL

I think the common thread with people who have Venus in Cap is that they link romantic feelings with feelings of responsibility. They believe in being dependable in a practical way (e.g., they won't flake out on plans) and also in an emotional way (they won't declare strong feelings for you if they sense it's only a shallow crush). This isn't to say that they won't have flings, just that they won't confuse it as being more than that, and they won't mislead their partner that it's more than it is.

I have my Venus in this sign and am friends with some men and women who also have this placement (off the top of my head, they all have Sag suns too, like me) and we all prefer long-term relationships.

I haven't noticed a common desired look.

Some famous males with Venus in Cap:

Paul Newman, James Dean, Elvis, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, JFK Jr., Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams

Annaf, in response to your question, I don't think of myself as having that type of "classic beauty". I don't even think I look sophisticated, which is ironic, cause I attract a lot of venus in Capricorn men. haha. Go figure.

My placements are:

Sun: Gemini
Moon: Gemini
Mercury: Gemini
Rising sign: Virgo or Leo (still unsure as my parents are still in debate over my exact birth time. haha)
Venus: Taurus
Mars: Taurus

That has got me thinking now. Why do I attract so many Venus in Capricorn men? Weird. My Sun, Moon, and Mercury all fall in my 10th house, which Capricorn is the natural ruler of, so maybe that's it.

I completely agree with your comment, about Venus in Capricorn having a LOT of confidence! They could be ugly, fat, short, whatever, but their confidence will not be affected. I love the air of authority around them!

Jane, I can completely relate to your comment about them wanting to be dependable in a practical way. This one Venus in Capricorn I dated, would ask to drive me home everyday after work. He would pick me up (always on time), and drive through NYC rush hour traffic to take me to Jersey, then drive back to NYC where he lived. He used to tell me all the time, "I want you to know you can depend on me!" He also used to cook me dinner during the day, and put in it little tupperware containers for me to take home and eat. It's kind of crazy now that I think about it. He was a Sag Sun, and very sweet. If only the sex was better, I would've stuck around a bit longer to see where it could've gone.

Christian Bale! I love him!!!

Awwww, I miss all my venus in Capricorn men! Can't wait to meet another one.

Gem to the 3rd -
He does sound sweet, but perhaps in an overly paternalistic way? I suspect he would've come to life in the bedroom if you called him "Daddy." I'm sorta kidding. Is this the same guy who had a Cap stellium?

Oh man, I don't mind calling a guy like that 'daddy' in the bedroom. LOL. Pack my lunch in tupperware anytime honey. LOL.

Umm. OK. Maybe that was TOO much info.

I have a thing for Christian Bale too. Paul Newman...? He was hot as hell.
I love the authoritative vibe in Capricorns. It's sexy as all heck.

"Yeah Daddy, nourish your baby. Feed me your..." Kindly prepared lunches, of course.

I've said "daddy" for far less.

I'm nothing near anorectic hangers lolz and I love dresses (never wear dresses past knees lolz) I'm really tanned too

Hmm maybe that's why we parted haha.

Jane, I also have Venus in Cap (at the so called critical degree 26) and your description is right on. He is a gentleman, wine and dine you even if you're not together anymore. Always loves to offer help "I'm always here" lolz and feel proud when asked. "Should" doesn't come out from him quite often but I can feel the "father" vibe lolz. Geez, pick on me like an old man lolzzzz. Physically speaking, he's not too attractive at first sight, but he grows on you, earthy, sensual, manly man

Like the men, I prefer to have long term relationships. If work is the main priority now, then no problems, we can go our own ways, be best friends and see what'll happen. There is no happy house without $$$. We're serious ( )

Triplepisces,

Why is venus in capricorn at 26 degrees a critical degree? I also have that exact same placement.

Gem, Gem, Gem,

yes, those 10th house placements might give you a capriornian vibe. And your gemini placements might just add the right kind of excitement and fun for them to loosen them up a bit.

I actually dont think that venus in capricorn is particularly self-confident on the contrary. I think there is often something very restricted and self-critical (self-doubting) in this venus placement. Almost like you are not quite sure whether you have the capacitiy to attract others and be loved. No matter how much positive feedback you have received in the past. I was only giving that one example to illustrate how a venus conjunct jupiter placement can completely differ in their expression of a venus in capricorn compared to a venus opposite saturn.

Uh, can't relate. LOL. I never saw a Venus Cappy liking this...at all! I know I'm not like this (though I do have good cheekbones).

Bale and Newman are/were not married to hangers lol
They do like high cheekbones and intellect.
I don't understand the "classic features" thing though..

Jane, I'm sitting here eating breakfast, and just read your comment,

"Yeah Daddy, nourish your baby. Feed me your..."

I almost threw up in my mouth! LOL!!!
BTW, excellent memory..he is the Cap stellium guy!

You and MyVirgoMask, are hysterical! No, I never thought to call him "daddy"! That would kill the mood for me faster than anything else I can think of! The tupperware dinners were very good though!

I am definitely not anorexic looking. I'm not even skinny. haha.

Green Fairy, when I think classic beauty and features, I think Audrey Hepburn! Timeless!!! (She's got high cheekbones too!)

I know a couple of guys with this Venus placement, and both of them are Capīs. But they are extremely different! One of them is very outgoing, flirtatious, a bit selfcentered, and craves a lot of excitement in his life as well as in relationships. But, when it comes to feelings, and more serious commitments he is a bit reserved. He had a girlfriend, but he didn't say so much about her to anyone. He said he was in a relationship, but except from that he was very reserved about it, but was open about almost everything else! And he shows a lot of affection physically. I know he likes me, and when the other relationship ended he started massaging me all the time The other guy is a bit shy, but I think he is very serious about relationships. It has to be real and solid.

I wonder what is meant by "classically beautiful"?

IMO classic beauty has to do with someone who is natural [no need for bling, makeup, etc] and radiates class.

agree with Green Fairy, someone with a timeless 'classic' look will look classy naturally, even in jeans and a t-shirt i.e. they won't need pearl earings and a necklace to look sophisticated. Grace Kelly is obviously the personification of what classic beauty is all about. But I think also Joanne Woodward is an example. She may not be as ravishingly beautiful as Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn, but she also has that natural sophistication about her. Incidently she has a capricorn ascendant and her husband Paul Newman had his venus in capricorn. So her looks obviously appealed to his venus...

Well, technically, I guess this is timeless and classic beauty...in the Westernized sense LOL of beauty

It can definitely deviate though. Anything / anyone easy on the eyes who does not seem to need makeup or has a natural glow...

Hi guys...thanks for the info, but I'm down in the dumps b/c my relative passed away a couple of days ago. When I'm up and about, I'll respond/ask more questions. Thanks a lot again and talk to you soon.
