I was wondering if having a 8th house stellium would make someone more scorpionic or able to understand scorpios since the 8th house rules that sign.

I was interested because i have mercury, venus, mars, jupiter sun on the 7/8th cusp,and vertex in the 8th. My planets don't generally fall in the sign of scorpio but almost everything said about them seems to hold true for me.

Also does having that stellium make you more compatible synastry wise with someone with a heavy scorpio chart even if your planet signs don't seems to merge very well?

Any insight ?

I think it should make someone a little more compatible, but I am not expert. If the planet isn't in Scorpio but in the 8th house it would just lend to a certain intensity and depth which would relate somewhat.

Reminds me - I know someone with a Scorpio stellium in the 8th house - Mercury, Venus, Uranus, and I forget the other planet. He's a late Libra with his sun in the 7/8th house, and now that I think of it he's never struck me as Libra in any way really.

My Sun and Jupiter are in the 8th. I think I'm more Scorpionic than a regular Capricorn. I think the relationship with a Scorp would be enhanced, but I'm still experimenting there.

have the accurate data for a person with mars,venus and pluto in the eighth house....the general descriptions of mars,venus or pluto in scorpio fit.I know the person has many friends and family who are scorpios or have moon in scorpio or scorpio ascendant

Yes. The houses your planets fall in lend a certain flavoring to them that have to do with the sign that rules it.

I'm very Sagittarian, but I only have Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius. But I have a 9th house Sun and Mercury, which is my chart ruler.

I have an 8th house stellium, and I'm more Scorpionic than the average Leo, especially in terms of my interests. I have my Leo Sun and Merc and Virgo Mars in the 8th, and I am fascinated by psychoanalysis, human sexuality, death and the ways people think about death, the occult, transformation and secrets. The themes of my writing are very Scorpionic.

Ultimately, though, I'm still a total Leo.

Well, that's just weird Lucia, because I have nothing in the 8th house and I can totally relate to your interests, as they are my passions I wonder what it is specifically.
Venus Scorpio, Mercury conj Pluto...ok maybe, but nothing in the 8th. Hmmm.

The house a planet is in especially your sun sign adds a theme to the way that one expresses oneself. Sun and Mercury are in my 8th house, I really don't think I'm very scorpio like, I'm not that intense, but I'm drawn to scorpio influences in others. The 8th house is about transformation, and is highly spiritual, and seeks the deeper and darker sides of life...

Do asteroids count? Because I have Lilith ( and Vertex ) in 8th house, with Mars and Jupiter.Would that be considered a stellium?

My Son has Sun,Venus,Mars and Jupiter in the 8th house..And he has Urunus in the 1st house but he is a Leo..He very Scorpion/Aquarian..He loves Scorpion women too..
