SOOOOO, the guy who is supposed to be here to pick me up did not specify which of the 8 international gates he's supposed to meet me at (me, being dumb, didn't think that it would be a big area and didn't think to ask him so it's mostly my fault) SOOOOO now i'm using the free wifi at the airport to e-mail the seoul office that i am stranded at the airport...SOOOOO does anyone wanna read my natal chart LOLOLOL... i think i may have the placements and aspects of a mass murderer... I'm about to kill someone... IP: Logged |

I need to get a good alcohol buzz going when I fly. It makes all the difference. I'm nervous without booze, but after I kick back a few I get really excited. It was awesome when I flew to Mexico. I flew AeroMexico and they just kept the free drinks coming... the drink cart went back and forth down the aisle, over and over again. The plane almost turned into a party, everyone was getting loaded and in a great mood. And I hate airline food. Just give me scotch on the rocks. IP: Logged |

Update: I am no longer stranded in the middle of nowhereland, Incheon Airport. I seriously almost had a panic attack with no cell phone or knowledge of korean. after an hour, i heard my name paged on the intercom. i'm at my co-teacher's house until i move into my apartment sunday.i should have drank on my flight. i was offered wine and was a bit shocked (not of legal age) and didn't take it because i was afraid of getting caught? i love airline food, although i had a weird dish tonight. pasta (note: koreans say pasta like chicagoans do: pah-sta, instead paw-sta. or maybe it was just my stewardess. made me miss home ) with a red sauce and... brocolli? maybe i'm picky by a red sauce and brocolli? it tasted ok. i feel bad saying no here... people are so nice. they keep offering me things that i really don't need and when i say no to one thing they offer me another. so polite. ... i miss home IP: Logged |

It seems a common practice to not ask ages when serving alcohol on flights.I was served alcohol in flight when I was 17, back in 1999. I flew "standby" when going from Chicago to Philadelphia, and I wore a suit and tie incase I got bumped to first-class. Sure enough, a first-class seat was open. I felt totally bad-ass... wearing a suit and tie, flying first-class, sipping vodka tonics at 17 years old... all for a $35 standby pass given to me by my airplane mechanic brother. IP: Logged |

And isn't it strange how all the rules of drinking alcohol go out the window on a flight?Flight attendant: We are serving breakfast now madam (7.15) what drinks would you like? Bunnies: Breakfast? Mmmm....yes could I have a brandy...oooh and one of those little bottles of red.....hang on,could you make that two? Thank you kindly. Now in any other reality ,if I saw a woman swigging alcohol with her cornflakes and bread roll??? IP: Logged |
