Dulce, don't mean to scare you but I gained the most weight when Jupiter moved into my second house.....doesn't seem to be stopping either...I must resist the carbs LOL!!

I don't think Jupiter in your 1st will automatically make you gain weight, I just think that your more likely to gain weight *if you eat junk* when Jupiter is in your 1st/2nd than in any other house. It also depends on your metabolism & predisposition to gain weight.

Would sag risings have a tendency to gain weight-just curios-as jupiter is involved.
I think of them with athletic physiques.

Jupiter is conjunct my ascendant now, and has just gotten into 1st. I would LOVE to gain some weight! LOL! But it will probably not happen in this lifetime..

Yeah, I was born with Jupiter in Sag in the 1st house so it must have moved through there when I was very young.

I was a big baby when I was born. My mother kept saying this meant I would be tall, well until I was in my early 20s, when she finally copped onto the fact that I am the runt of the litter, LOL, I was a twig until my late 20s but I look better now, a bit of flesh on the old bones, still smallish though.

Jupiter moved through the 1st house my husband's chart a few years ago. I don't recall him putting on much weight at the time, I did though, I had a baby off him, so there you go, these transits don't always work out they way you think they might.

I had jupiter transiting my first house in my younger years. MAN! I was huge when I was around 8-12 (some age like that) It was so bad that my mom wouldn't let me eat junk food, and my doctor even told my mom that I have to watch my eating and get sum exersice because I might be obeses when I grow up. But now, (since the transit left my house), I am no were near overwight/obesisty. My grandma (who lives in another country) Didnt even recognize me when she saw me after a year the jupiter transit left my firsdt house.

But, you know how astrology is. No matter how much you TRY to avoid it.....IT GUNNA HAPPEN...THERES NO RUNNING AWAY!

I'm going through this transit right now and I've actually had a really hard time keeping on the pounds, so now I have to eat way more than usual to prevent excessive weight loss.

well i definitely put on weight with jupiter in 1st - last time, and a few cycles ago it happened as well. these were both related to hormonal times, one with the pill and one with premenopause - and for me it came off almost instantly not long after jupiter left my 1st. however other passes at this transit made no impact on my weight as far as i remember!

so the tendency may be there but its not imperative!!

For some reason my best friend LOST tons of weight during this transit, and no diet. Went from a size 10 to a size 2. She has no idea why. We are both still puzzled! She still remains a size 2 and she eats like a truck driver.

i've observed this in 4 of my friends. One is cappy ac, 3 are sag. They all complained about having weight problems.

I did. It was back in 2004. I was 20 and I was thicker than I am now. I was pig eating all day but working out like crazy. Even that didn't help much. LOL. Hate that transit!
