I want to go over some transits that I had going on when my exgirlfriend broke up with me. I just wanted to talk about relationships through Cosmobiology which is a planetary geometrical based system, and it is the system that I prefer to use for Medical Astrology. This astrological system is an event-oriented system.

Cosmobiologists use only conjunction, opposition, square, semisquare, and sesquiquadrate. They believe that these aspects event-oriented. Therefore, they don't believe that hard aspects are challenging.
they express all aspects with the (=)

example: Moon = Neptune

a midpoint is expressed with a (/) between the 2 points in the half sum

for example: Saturn/Neptune

They use no more than a 1 degree orb for transits in order time events with the measurements of secondary progressions and solar arcs.

Cosmobiology is a system that doesn't use the houses. It extensively uses midpoints with natal, synastry, solar arc, secondary progression, and transit and this includes secondary progressed, solar arc,and transiting midpoints.

interpretations from Ruth Brummond's Rulebook of Planetary Pictures

The breakup was on April 2nd, 2008.

Transiting Saturn square my Natal Neptune
contrary. dissatisfied. Incomprehensible problems. Illness. Inconveniences. Suffering.
(started on March 27, 2008)

Transiting Saturn conjunct my Natal Venus/MC
Sadness in love. Alienation. Cooling of feelings. Interrupted harmony. To experience little affection.
(started on April 1, 2008)

Transiting Saturn sesq my Natal Moon/Neptune
- insecure. dissatisfied; discontented. hopeless. pessimistic. melancholy. contrary. lacking in self-confidence. dejected; mournful. emotionally distraught.
(exact on April 2, 2008)

Transiting Saturn sesq my Natal Mars/Jupiter
- contrary. works too slowly.
To miss favorable opportunities.
(March 22 - April 11, 2008)

Transiting Pluto square my Natal Pluto
Transiting Pluto conj my Natal Venus/Node
- hedonistic. vacillating. unreliable. [exploitive in love when unevolved.]
Inclination to vacillation among contacts. Inclination to change partners.
(This could be change made by partner)
(exact on April 7th)
Transiting Pluto = Natal Pluto = Venus/Node

Regular astrologers would say that Neptune rules my 7th house, and so transiting Saturn square my 7th house ruler reflects the ending of a relationship.

but cosmobiologists would disregard that with their non-use of houses and point out that:

my Neptune aspects my Venus/MC midpoint which indicate being idealistic, sensitive, empathic in love, relationships, and transiting Saturn(which they consider the planet of separations) was squaring that indicated dissastisfaction, trouble, disappointment, separation in regards to love, relationships

They would also point out that transiting Saturn aspected my Moon/Neptune midpoint, and they would say the transit indicated discontent, dejected, sadness, separation involving a woman

They would also point that transiting Saturn aspects my Mars/Jupiter midpoint which can indicate a breakup of a relationships, plans being restricted.

my midpoints, Mars/Jupiter and Moon/Neptune conjunct within 30 minutes of arc, ....can be written Mars/Jupiter = Moon/Neptune or Mars+Jupiter = Moon+Neptune. It's referred to as a "planetary picture." Those are considered important in Uranian Astrology. Magi Society calls them "Magi Quads." David Cochrane calls them "Isosceles Trapezoids." So midpoints don't necessarily have to be aspected by a planet and point to be significant. They can be aspected by a midpoint to be significant. Of course, if they are aspected by transit, solar arc, secondary progression,or even synastry, then they can be more important.

I get these weird hunches

I figured that I had something going on involving Ceres because the breakup was connected to my girlfriend's mother and her problems letting her daughters get on with their own lives with men. Ceres has to do with mother-daughter issues, empty nest, problems letting go,not be able to share like the myth of Ceres/Demeter,Proserpina/Persephone,Pluto/Hades.

I will go over the myth in a nutshell

In mythology, Ceres/Demeter had a daughter named Proserpina/Persephone who was kidnapped by Hades/Pluto to be his consort in the Underworld. Ceres was in grief over losing her daughter, and so the Earth suffered because she was the Goddess of the Harvest. She ended up getting her daughter back but not permanently. Proserpina ate some pomegranate seeds. Proserpina had split time between her mother and Pluto. So when Proserpina was with Ceres, the Earth had Spring and Summer. When Proserpina was with Pluto,it had Fall and Winter.
the theme was the mother having a hard time letting go of the daughter, the empty nest syndrome...also girl becoming a woman....you could say it also be losing one's virginity.
I always thought Ceres was another indicator for mother in the chart. Ceres is the asteroid of nurturing, and it does seem to strongly have to do with maternal matters.
In Roman mythology, Ceres is the goddess of growing plants (particularly cereals) and of motherly love. Ceres was worshipped in Ancient Roman religion, and is today still worshipped in Religio Romana Neopaganism. Ceres was usually equated with the Greek goddess, Demeter.

According to the book, MECHANICS OF THE FUTURE OF ASTEROIDS by Martha Lang-Wescott (she's uses asteroids with transneptunian points on a 90 degree dial.....mainly a uranian asteroid astrologer),

Ceres: The need for nurturance;mother-child relationships; food; events and exchanges between child and mothers; issues that deal with "taking care of" plants, animals, and people.

Solar Arc (especially if it is is aspecting a midpoint picture) tend to show potential events that will happen during the year. When it's activated by transit, an event may likely occur. No more than 1 degree orb is used.

a secondary progression(especially if it is aspecting a midpoint picture)tend to show potential events too, when it's activated by transit, an event may likely occur. No more than 1 degree orb is used.

Secondary Progressed Ceres square Natal Venus
mother-child issues affect love,relationships
(was going on at the time)
Transiting Mars/Pluto semisquare Natal Venus
(March 31 - April 4 2008)
so Transiting Mars/Pluto = Secondary Progressed Ceres = Natal Venus
can be interpreted as being forced changes connected to mother-child issues affecting love, relationship

Solar Arc Saturn/Asc square Natal Neptune
suffering due to separation from a relationship
(was going on at the time)
Transiting Saturn/Ceres sesquiquadrate Natal Neptune
mother-daugher issues leading to suffering
(exact on April 1, 2008)
so Transiting Saturn/Ceres = Solar Arc Saturn/Asc = Neptune
can be interpreted as restricting mother-child issues leading to separation and suffering involving relationships

Secondary Progressed Asc/MC oppose Natal Moon
(was going on at the time)
Solar Arc Venus/Pluto square Natal Moon
- changes in relationships involving women
(was going on at the time)
Solar Arc Jupiter/Ascendant square Natal Moon
- luck in relationships
(was going on at the time)
Transiting Saturn/Ceres sesquiquadrate Natal Moon
separation from a woman connected mother-child issues
(started on April 3, 2008)
so Transiting Saturn/Ceres = Solar Arc Venus/Pluto = Solar Arc Jupiter/Asc = Secondary progressed Natal Moon which can be can be can be interpreted as restrictions involving mother-child issues brought about changes in relationship dampening one's enthusiastic outlook and life in general

Solar Arc Venus/Uranus oppose Natal MC
- life changes involving love,relationships
(started on March 29, 2008)
Transiting Uranus/Ceres semisquare Natal MC
- to one's life that involve mother-daughter issues
(exact on April 4 2008)
so Transiting Uranus/Ceres = Solar Arc Venus/Uranus = Natal MC
can be interpreted as changes in relationships connected to stressful mother-child issues.

Transiting Neptune square Natal Moon/Ceres
- deception with women involving mother-child issues
(exact on April 4, 2008)

I am definitely going to pay more attention to midpoint transits, solar arcs, and secondary progressions. They seem to show a lot.

I already prefer Cosmobiology for Medical Astrology insights any way. They also use the declinations including midpoints.

I have COSMOBIOLOGY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY by Eleonora Kimmel. I got it back in 2005. I have considered using Cosmobiology back then.

Because of the extensive use of midpoints in Cosmobiology, they use smaller orbs for regular aspects

Sun,Moon,Asc,MC - 5 degrees
Mercury,Venus,Mars - 4 degrees
Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune,Pluto - 3 degrees
then semisquares,sesquiquadrates - 1.5 degrees

Midpoint Configurations - 1 1/2 degrees
involving Sun,Moon,Asc,Midheaven - 2 degrees
involving Semisquare,Sesququadrate - 1 degree

Many Midpoint Astrologers only use 1 degree because secondary progressions, solars arcs have a 1 degree orb. They use 1 degree orb for transits.

but any ways.....I just wanted to share some insights about relationship breakups through the system of Cosmobiology devised by Reinhold Ebertin who was once associated with the Hamburg School,Uranian Astrology.

I also want to reiterate that just because you have Saturn transits doesn't mean that you will experience a separation, but it could be a time where you are faced to be realistic about a situation. It can be a time of taking things very seriously and being forced to be practical whether you like it or not. All that can coincide with a separation too. After all, a separation can lead somebody to be cautious, realistic after getting hurt.

Saturn Transits and all other transits don't cause events to happen. They only correspond with events. It's all about synchronicity. Not cause and effect. Free will is the ultimate factor. When it comes to relationships, the outcome is determined by the choices you make and the actions that you take as well as those of the person that you are in a relationship with.

I plan to include Ceres and Eris...they are no joke. I had major events happen during Ceres transits.

here is a good Cosmobiology site with a lot of good info http://www.cosmoastrology.com/introduction-to-cosmobiology
