Just curious as to which signs will be the winners and losers over the next decade.

What about those on the cusp, how will they be affected? I'm a Libran/Scorpion cusp.

well, people with planets in capricorn will have a hard time, because the conjunction is the strongest aspect, imo.

Of course, people with planets in cancer and libra will have some issues.

I think aries will have difficulties too.

People with Sun in Capricorn and heavy Cap or Saturn influence imo. It will be the most transforming for us. Sag suns have described their Pluto conjunction as hell that heals you..so ultimately I am looking forward to it

I have my Sun conjunct Neptune in Capricorn, how would Pluto affect that..how would Neptune play along?

Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon

Mercury:: Sagittarius
Venus::Scorpio
Mars::Pisces

Damn...that sucks. Saturn is my ruler and I have 2 planets in Cap plus Cap rising. The past decade has been hell and now I've got more misery to look forward to...yay.

Yeah, it's going to be opposing my Saturn Cancer. My NN is in Cappy, as is my Midheaven, so I have no idea...It might square my Aries moon. It went from squaring my Sun to maybe squaring my moon. And it's squaring my natal Pluto.

Lovely. Just lovely.

Lara, ewwww...I feel for you.
But you know, it might also make you have a good and exciting relationship too if it's aspecting you Venus. Mine's sextiling it now, and it's causing a huge sexual buzz.

Instead of thinking about how much you think your life is going to suck, consider how much you'll grow from it.

Yeah, it makes you grow. Sure. But when it squares your sun it's extremely painful too...and when your life is already extremely difficult to begin with, I can't imagine how nasty a Pluto transit would be (or, I can...I had one too lol)

They should seriously have a support group

Im actually looking forward to the period when Pluto conjuncts my Sun (5 Cap). I find Pluto transits really empowering. I dread Neptune transits though.....ugh!

yay Deliverance! my sentiments exactly. i was getting depressed looking at everyone cringing in anticipation.

THIS JUST IN! Pluto is not the bad guy -your way of dealing with him is what it's all about! i am not the only sun/pluto person on this board, i know, but my early years when sun was conjunct pluto and pluto in my sun sign and house were ANYTHING but hard - financially, physically, emotionally i had a great time! i suspect being born with pluto aspects helps because "you don't miss what you never had" but it's a GREAT time and a time when GREATNESS settles on you.

HOWEVER if you are afraid of it it will wup your backside quite happily! and if you are only in this game for yourself ditto. there has to be something BIGGER in your plans and outlook than your own personal gain...even so as a child i don't think pluto hurt me one little bit. it is VERY empowering.

i think SAG had a much worse time of it than Capricorns will because SAG hates to be told what to do, for whatever reason. cappy can get his shoulders into the job for as loong as it takes.

and yes, i AM generalizing. some people can make SLAUGHTER out of swatting a fly. have a dreadful time if you want. this is capricorns time to kick a--! yes, you will have to let go of some outworn garbage you've been stuffing in your pockets, and if necessary the universe will find some pretty dire circumstances to force you to, but it doesn't have to be like that...

Both Pluto and Saturn are strong in my chart and they've been "helping me grow" for half my life. I've dealt with every absurd obstacle thrown my way and gone to hell and back a number of times now. I tried different approaches in handling these obstacles like sometimes I would fight back and other times I would just go with the flow. The end result was ALWAYS the same: everything I worked for was taken away.

I live my life with integrity and help others whenever they need it. My career goals actually involve helping others. Believe me I could make way more money pursuing business, so money is definitely not a motive for me. Despite this, Pluto and Saturn keep throwing more sh*t at me and I haven't had a break from this in a decade and it doesn't look like this will end anytime soon. What lesson exactly am I supposed to be learning other than Pluto and Saturn are jerks?

MyVirgoMask,

I agree, we should start a support group. You've got some tough transits coming up, too. I really hope we get through these transits without too much trouble!

I have Mars (3 Cap) conjunct Neptune (5 Cap), so that could feel similar. I'm really not sure whether to look upon this transit as a strengthening influence or a damaging one.

Technically, Pluto should be content in Capricorn. Other than its native sign of Scorpio, Capricorn is one of the most Pluto-friendly signs.

I find that Pluto only destroys things that appear superficial. The areas represented by Capricorn in your chart are likely to be areas where you are far from superficial. You’d be pretty realistic, down and dirty in those areas.. so I think Pluto is more likely to say "all the more power to you" - rather than set out to destroy something meaningful to you. I’d like to think whatever changes occur will be for the better.

:edit: Also my Moon is at 19 Cap, but that's still a long way away.

I'm praying for Aries, Libra, and Cancer people with personal planets there. Pluto transits in square to my Sun and opposition to my moon, in my case, have been times of great and painful loss. Of course, it depends on your other placements. I know one friend w/ a Sun/Pluto conjunction who straightened their life out during the square, and another who ruined theirs. Guess it can go either way...

Neptune dissolves & weakens IMO. The only Neptune transit that was bareable was Neptune opposite Saturn. If fact that was amazing.
Neptune conjunct Venus is an awful, awful transit its messed up my thought processes & ability to communicate (Venus in 3rd). Its also eroded my confidence a fair bit & dissolved any iota of beauty I had before the rotten transit.
Neptune square Jupiter is anther horror. Its too expansive, no control at all. It manifested in a increase in my appetite & diminished willpower.

The only way I have coped with these transits is through isolation. Communication with others through a heavy Neptune transit can be humiliating to say the least.

The positive aspects of the transitis is deeper meditations & enhancing ESP, this is cool, but it gets in the way when your trying to work in an environment where people don't understand that kind thing, you have to think on your toes & where your surrounded by noise & small talk.

I hope I can use the energy efficiently, instead of it either crushing me, or my becoming more negative in general. At the moment, Pluto is inconjunct my Moon, Venus and South Node, and sextile my Uranus/ascendant and Mars (or getting there). As it moves through Capricorn, it will square my Jupiter, Mercury, Ceres, Chiron and Sun in Aries, my Pluto in Libra, and oppose my Saturn.

Maybe it will balance out the energy from Neptune, which is sextile my Sun, but slowly moving to conjunct my Mars, trine my Uranus/ascendant, and square my Moon, Venus and Nodes...

I didn't even think about Saturn moving into Libra... that just brought about an "Ooh, ouch!" feeling. It'll be in my twelfth house, aspecting the same Cardinal placements that I mentioned above.
