Because of all the transitting Pluto talk and how it will affect people w/ different astrological situations (not just Cap influence people).

I'll use Pluto for these examples..

Let's say tPluto conjuncts your natal Sun..which sextiles your natal Pluto. So will you not only be affected in ways of the Sun (ego, your core, etc) but also in those things Pluto represents? How will the conjunction of tPluto to Sun affect the planets that form aspects to the Sun?

Also - would this mean that you would look to your natal Pluto and what it aspects to get a closer look at how the transit will affect you?

I hope this makes sense. If not I can use a better example to clarify..

------------------
Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon

Mercury:: Sagittarius
Venus::Scorpio
Mars::Pisces

This is a complex matter, but I guess (or: I hope) I understand the point you're making here. With me, for instance, I have Sun quincunx Moon natally. That means: Whenever my Sun will be positively touched by a transiting planet, my Moon will be touched in stressful ways. To give an example: Soon, transiting Uranus will square my natal Moon - at the same time it will trine my natal Sun, though.

I guess ... the dichotomy I feel from my odd natal Sun-Moon-placements will be stressed whenever a transiting planet comes into play with one of these.

That's just ONE of the reasons, why explanations for planetary transits NEVER work out sufficiently for an individual chart. To stick with the given exmpale: Transiting Uranus square Moon might be hell for some people ... but for me, it will bring a certain strength and faith, because involved with it is a trine from t.Uranus to my Sun.

It's tricky!;-)

For the title bit:
If you have the whole sign house system, Pluto moving into Capricorn will have changed into a different house. Look at what house it enters for the lowdown. Look at the previous house for what has been. Good or bad for that house depends on what you have done.

For the 1st bit:
Yes, Pluto on Sun will affect both areas. Although I look at the Planets as house rulers, rather than saying Sun = Ego and all that talk.
The planet recieving the aspect is the better indicator of which area will be affected.....Pluto on Sun = look at Sun What house it rules.

For the 2nd bit:
Wouldnt affect the other planets too much at all. Just look at transits as one to one events. All planets are on a cycle with every other planet andwill be affected, but only when they are/almost exact.
So if you have Pluto conjunct Sun, just look at that aspect. If Pluto then conjuncts Mercury in a degree, concentrate on just that aspect that is occurring.
