do you ever get a feeling of "close, but not quite there" when you've come in contact with someone who has an out of orb aspect with your venus or mars? most of the time, i've found it to be this case. a pisces venus man that i dated a long time ago had a 2nd decanate pisces venus and while we had compatibility it always felt a little "off". I know someone with his Mars 5/6 degrees away from an exact opposition with my Venus, but I still felt it strongly, as soon as we met. I was sure his Mars would be either conjunct or opposite my Venus - long before I found out his d.o.b.IP: Logged |

the aspect might be in orb in right ascensionRight ascension is the coordinates that astronomers to use to locate celestial objects. it is the celestial equator longitude coordinates. declinations is the celestial equator latitude coordinates which many of us astrologers use,but most of us don't even use right ascension. Astronomers actually use both. but you can convert RA ascension by associating every degree as degree of sign. for instance 301'03 would be 1'03 Aquarius. aspects involving the regular planets can make a 3 degree difference....pluto and the other kuiper belt objects can be a 6 degree or more difference. so can Chiron and the other centaurs. Ceres and other asteroids can too also...if you have midpoint pictures involving planets
like some people think there is some Venus-Mars action going on. there could a midpoint activation in the synastry that involve Venus and Mars like A's Venus square B's Mars/Pluto midpoint. that's just an example. ------------------ Michael E. Brown, a professor of planetary astronomy at the California Institute of Technology who discovered the distant ball of ice and rock that he nicknamed Xena, chose the name Eris, after the goddess of discord and strife in Greek mythology. "It is absolutely the perfect name," Brown said, given the continuing discord among astronomers and the public over whether Pluto should have retained its planetary status. In mythology, Eris ignited discord that led to the Trojan War. "She causes strife by causing arguments among men, by making them think their opinions are right and everyone else's is wrong," Brown said. "It really is just perfect." http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2006/09/15/MNGS8L67LJ1.DTL Ideology,Diversity,Divergence,Equality,Sharing,Advocacy,Discord,Debating,Compromise,Agreeing to Disagree,Alternative Viewpoints, Seeing/or not seeing Eye to Eye. hmmm, i haven't really gotten into midpoints yet. how do you find them on astro.com? i think i found them once but the degrees weren't stated so i didn't really bother to study them. i know many of them are in gemini anyways.IP: Logged |

here is a midpoint calculator http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/midpoints/index.php ------------------ Michael E. someone (sorry, can't remember who) once wrote on this forum: "if it feels like an aspect, then it probably is."i mean this orb stuff with aspects is indeed a bit weird sometimes. for instance: this guy has his mars exactly conjunct my venus and i don't feel a thing for him. literally. he leaves me ice cold. he thinks i'm pretty though. but this other guy has his mars conjunct my venus with an orb of 5° and wow, he really makes me hot. don't know what to think of all this myself... ------------------ Asc: Scorpio Sun: Leo Moon: Taurus IP: Logged | |
