How would having Saturn on the Descendant in a composite chart affect the relationship? I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere.

I speculate that it has something to do with the relationship itself being delayed... which, in fact, it is.

While I'm at it, if anyone would like to provide any insight, much love will be returned.

But I'm mainly looking for information regarding this specific placement.

specifically it says you may need help from someone older to get things moving,it isn't such a bad thing to have but there will be a serious tone to the relationship, strong sense of obligation towards the relationship itself and I noticed it does have a good trine from jupiter in the 3rd which should help

Thank you much.

That's why it seemed too difficult for me to start things up myself.

If things are slow getting started it should be referring to the Asc which represents starts.
The sun is the ruler of the Asc and it's in the 4th conj. pluto. Now in a person this can represent a desire to stay close to the mother and a sense of 'danger' in the birth experience itself. See how the moon in the 8th house echos this feeling. So in the chart of a relationship I would say the relationship is too comfortable not initiating a start. Perhaps there is a sense of needing to protect itself. But...
Don't be fooled there is more going on than what meets the eye. Sun in scorpio conj. pluto is full of depth of feeling. And a sense of purpose. See how that conj. makes a grand trine with moon in 8th, and mars in 12th. That's good stuff however, the grand trine is famous for its laziness (although much talent). And with houses 8, 12 which are private, secretive houses, this relationship prefers the comfort of privacy and self protection.
The good stuff is working where no one can see it .
Mars in the 12th is opp neptune. This relationship doesn't know what it wants, hence the lolygagging. But it also opposites uranus and you may find spurts of sudden advancment.

If you want this relationship to get off the ground, invite this guy to your home (mar in cancer, sun in 4th) have lots of food available. Make the environment comfy and safe, put no pressure on him.(Good resturants help too )

The purpose of the relationship (Mc shows that, with its ruler venus in cap. in the 5th) is fun and romance. It's just that cappy's idea of fun and romance take time and security to bring it out of its shell.
