Donna, please don't apologize for sharing!!!!! Those are gorgeous and I for one am grateful you shared! I have the Romeo and Juliet picture by Sir Francis Dicksee on my living room wall! The Abduction of Psyche is also one of my favorites. Have you seen Cupid and Psyche as children? It's also by William Bouguereau. It's another one I own. ------------------ somehow, never again needing to speak the eyes-into-eyes, like burning embers, were enough we did not again need words ......Linda Goodman in Gooberz IP: Logged |

Is this the picture you mean, Cupid and Psyce as children? http://www.primenet.com/~byoder/wbkiss.jpg ScullyItsMe, I only know how to find them on the web and add the link. I don't know how to put them up from my own collection. Wish I could help more.

Donna, that is the one I have! But mine has them cut off at the waist and only shows the embrace and the kiss. I liked the second picture, Marigold! ------------------ somehow, never again needing to speak the eyes-into-eyes, like burning embers, were enough we did not again need words ......Linda Goodman in Gooberz IP: Logged |

Auriel, I love this topic! =) All the pictures are beautiful and moving. I especially like 'The Abduction of Psyche' and 'Cupid and Psyche as Children'. Too bad I don't have anything to contribute... :/IP: Logged |

Donna, that's another one I like! It has always reminded me of Phantom of the Opera. Meercatt, you can contribute any picture that moves you. Just type the name of it where it says address on your browser and several sites that have it will pop up. Find the one you want and give us the link. I have found a lot of great art on the net while looking for specific pictures and themes. ------------------ somehow, never again needing to speak the eyes-into-eyes, like burning embers, were enough we did not again need words ......Linda Goodman in Gooberz IP: Logged |

The problem is I don't get much time on the computer these days, and so I don't spend much time finding pics. But if I do come across anything, I'll sure share it. IP: Logged |

ooooooooooooh!Kawaii! I love these pics! Maybe I oughta find a few I like and post them. Wooooow these are gorgeous pics. Most of the pics I have are anime-style, but I could look around and find a few regular style love pictures. Unless of course any other otaku wants to see the romance of anime. Ja ne! Donna~ I have seen most or all of the others here (all great works) but, I think the image SOULMATES at Spiritscents is the BEST! Thank you for posting that one ~Princess ------------------ ~We can try many ways to get rid of the darkness, but none is as effective as simply increasing the light.~ UnkNown IP: Logged |

I don't draw a whole lot, I just edit them. But I do draw sometimes, though I feel my anime-style works are in need of a bit better doing. I find pictures online I feel are of love and caring. One of my favorites is of two characters from Card Captor Sakura, it looks so sweet. Here it is. http://www.squaregallery.com/anime-images/card-captor-sakura/029.html Here's to hoping it works! It's a beautiful picture that reminds me of myself and Erin in ways. Young love is so sweet Ja ne! Angelique
