As it's coming up for St Valentine's Day, maybe people would like to share stories as to how they met their Twin?

Here is my story ...

When I finished my first degree, I got into a rough situation with my tutor (she embezzled money from a project I started)that left me feeling very disillusioned. I'd also had an unrequited love for an older man and I wanted to get away.

I couldn't think where to go, but then I got this REALLY DUMB IDEA.

In high school, I had this huge crush on a guy in my class, and although we were only platonic friends, like many teenage girls I thought we were soul mates and destined to be together forever and so on. As soon as I saw this guy, although he looked pretty much like anyone else, I was convinced he was THE ONE.

We both moved to the same city, but although we saw each other every once in a while, we were both dating other people. After a year, he got a scholarship in a city 3000 miles away and moved there permanently.

So when I decided to move, I moved to the city where my old friend lived. I didn't really have any big reunion plan - I thought maybe we could catch up, see what happened. Maybe I could get him out of my system. Or whatever. And besides, it was a really long way away.

(Linda was right - Aquarians really do have a thing about their "first loves". My old friend was also an Aquarian BTW, born 29th January).

As soon as I arrived, I tracked my friend down - got his phone number, e-mail and home address, found out where he worked and so on. (Linda was right - Aquarians are born detectives).

I didn't contact him because I had stuff to work out - find somewhere to live and so on. I got very ill and was bedbound for several months, then I got a job and was generally pretty busy. I had a lot of emotional stuff to work out with various friends and relatives, and could not take on any new "business".

Then I enrolled in a university course, about a year after my arrival. This was another DUMB idea - I wasn't interested in the course, but it was one I had planned to do in my home city. I still hadn't contacted my friend - it just didn't feel right yet.

On enrolment day, I met my Twin. It was the 29th January. We knew we were Twins straight away. His birthday is the 29th March.

So I made two MASSIVE mistakes, but somehow the two wrongs made a right - or something ... I don't fully understand it.

(I still haven't contacted my old friend after more than 9 years! He is married to a lady called Sylvia and works for an environmental group. They live a couple of suburbs away. We have never run into each other. Odd.)

It sounds to me like what you consider two massive mistakes weren't mis-takes at all.

I ASK TIME, "IS IT I AT STAKE?"

I MET MI MATE AT A TIME SITE AT TEA TIME (It was 5 pm while signing up for class timetables)

A MISTAKE TIES ME TO MI MATE
(Due to a clerical error, we were placed in the same classes)

I AM SAME AS MI MATE ... MI MATE IS ME ... MI MATE (IE ME) IS A TEAM ... MI TASK IS (to) TAME MI MATE AS MI MATE TAMES ME ... I KIST MI MATE AS MI MATE KIST ME

TIME IS A MISTAKE!
SET MAKES TIME AT EAST SEA SITE
TIME IS A MASK
TIME IS A MIST
TIME IS MT (empty)

SET IS SAME AS TIME
I SMITE TIME!

A MISTAKE IS KISMET!!

(This is my first completed lexi, so please be kind if it seems a bit crude!)

Great job!

I think Will has MISTAKE up at his site. You can find it at http://www.goodworksonearth.org/

If he doesn't have it up, then I have a copy of it and will send it to you, if you'd like to see it.

Morning Storm,

I couldn't find MISTAKE on that wonderful Lexigram site. If it's not too much trouble, I would love a copy (my e-mail is open on profile).

I have been doing some research on Twins at twinsouls.community.everyone.net

and found that the "fake Twin" leading to the real Twin is very common. They are called "step Twins".

I have just realised that both the older man who rejected me and my "step Twin" have the same Moon sign - Gemini.

I thought I had a copy of MISTAKE, but the only thing I could find is an email that went around a Lexi group for it, where we all contributed to it. I guess it was never written out. Sorry, I could've sworn I had it. Hmmm, maybe it's on my Yahoo acct. It's down right now, but will hopefully be up in the next couple of days.

Pisces Moon,

I never did find that Lexi, but I asked my daughter to do it, to see what she comes up with, to compliment yours. Here's what she found:

I met my twin on August 1 when I was staying in the exact same room that Linda stayed in at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, exactly 21 years and seven months after Linda met Nahtan in that very room (1/1/70). My twin, her name is Joy, had been working at the hotel for nearly four years! I met her on my first day ever in LA, and we were together every day for the next 11 days. It was bizarre, and we are still having fun there are a thousand other little things, like Joy being from Colorado, yet it's pretty clear that we got the Accelerated Thunderbolt thing going on. It's been a lovely karma-free ride. I think Linda had a lot to do with it. My girl friend, who was staying with me in the room, and my twin, both said at the same time that they saw Linda's ghost in the room, and that she walked right through me. I definitely did feel it, and she was there and she still is. So my twin and I take a hot tub at the hotel once a week on average to celebrate where we met...and that Linda had a hand in it...most definitely.

so I made a webpage devoted to Our Sacred Union:
http://lovestarz.com/leovirgo.html

if anyone is interested there are some poems there too that we wrote, and our interaspects. a truly magickal meeting, we feel so blessed

Bright Blessings,

Carlo

Carlo, thank you for sharing your wonderful story! That is really amazing - the Linda connection.

I loved your web page, and the astrological information was read very carefully.

My Twins Moon is trine my Saturn, and my Venus is exactly conjunct my Twin's Mercury, and my Mars sextile his Pluto, so you can probably relate.

Through meeting and bonding and blending with my Twin, I became very intersted in synastry, composite charts and relationship charts.

yes, I can relate, PM They say, and I've seen it clearly time and again, that no Mars-Saturn interaspect between charts is easy, yet if you are going to have one, it's better to have the trine than a toughy. And as a rule, if you ever have your Mars opposite the other's Saturn, or your Saturn opposite their Mars, RUN. I have not ever seen one relationship that lasted with an opposition between Mars and Saturn between charts. In fact, it usually results in major craziness. I do prefer the intertwining of Inner Planets. My Mercury is exactly conjunct her Sun, which is 2° from her Venus. Her Mercury in Virgo isn't far from my Virgo Sun, so there is mutual Sun-Mercury reception, which rocks.

She has been more emotional about her past lately, and I chalk it up to Jupiter in Cancer conjuncting her Moon. Hell, I have Cancer Rising and Jupiter in Cancer close to my Asc. in the first house. So I'll happily take my Jupiter Returns every 12 years (right Auriel? you know what I'm talkinbout girl). Yet now we know that it can trigger her Moon, too. We both have afflicted Moons anyway, and since Jupiter enlarges and expands what it touches, for better or worse, one has to guard against the expansion of the touchy contacts. Yet Joy is a bright, Sunny Leo, usually ultra-optimistic, like me (Jupiter in Cancer in the first? like I have a choice?) and I've always thought that Leo Sun/Cancer Moon girls are the best Leos you can get your hands on, since I've often avoided other Leos (especially with Scorpio Moons, yikes!) It's that double rulership thing, it's unbeatable. Yet when you look at our charts together, it's crazy...a big concentration of Cancer, Leo, and Virgo. I find a lot of inspiration in writing astrology poetry and building web pages. Joy wrote that poem Bubbles of Grandeur, I think it's on the twin soul page I ordained...I thought it wasn't that funny at first, it made no sense. Then she's like, "Get it? 'Times three'? As in, your Grand Trine in Water and mine in Air...Water/Air...Bubbles...get it?...of GRANDeur...". I'm all "Oh! I get it, that's funny!" and then the poem made sense

Plus there is nothing like being told by someone that no one has ever brought them to such a height of happiness and that they've never even known a real man before, and feeling as if you help someone open up and show them to their Womanhood, it's every man's dream, no matter what they tell you. although I've often seen Leos not really get taken proper care of in their intimacies, Joy was no exception. see, everyone thinks they're just fine by themselves, since they appear to have it all together and be upbeat and sunny all the time. so very often their needs don't get met in their intimacies. so when someone comes along and really is ready and thoughtful, like most even technical Virgos, they are surprised. recall Linda on Leo/Virgo from Love Signs, it's on the page I made. it's all true. I can tell you, I have romanced Leo girls (the ones who caught my eye that is...I'd avoid the ones who fancied me), and it's true...a largely intimately unsatisfied lot, so they are often grateful for the new breath of life into their sunny psyches and their big hearts. Leos really seem to love to be excited, they love fun. It's great, and this Virgo boi needs that, no play-my-Playstation-longer-than-me girls for me anymore...the ones who want to do things are great, and Leo Sun/Cancer Moon means you have no question that they can do the home thing the nicest way possible. Leos have a great eye for interior decoration. I sit back and she remodels every three weeks, it's delightful. Virgos need, like Linda said, for the Sun to shine in, and Leos throw the windows open like no others...right? I love that thanks for checking the page, it's easy to lose yourself in that type of thing when you find the One...

my swell Libra friend, Mary Holly (she's actually a dryad when she isn't holding together a NY university) has a Pisces Moon, I love her, and she is not claiming others' problems for herself much since her Saturn Return a few years ago (as couselled by me then that our Saturn Return means discard the less desirable Moon traits now, and claim the positive Sun traits). Joy turned 30 in August, so her SR is over, whew. I think that's the best time to meet up with someone, right off their Saturn return right? not too much planetary roughness til the Mid-Life Crisis around 43 lol

Bright Blessings,

Carlo

Carlo ~ Yes I have noticed the Mars-Saturn thing. Often it seems to indicate a relationship where one or both people refuse to let go, even when it is clear they are making each other miserable.

I began seeing my Twin around the time of the Saturn Return, when the Progressed Moon went into the New Moon phase in the 1st house in Aries. Saturn conjuncted my Venus and Jupiter sextiled it from the 11th house. I always believed this combination would provide a major turning point in my life, and I wasn't disappointed.

yep, that refuse to let go thing is true with that opposition, fer sure. it is the single most frightening aspect in all of synastry, it's the first thing I look for.

now for some fun!! this woman is linked to my site, I am still trying to figger out where, though I get a bunch of hits from her viewers. anyways, she has a wicked cute site, check out the humor page:
http://www.mooncatsastrology.com/astrology-humor.htm

and the Blame the Planets thing is pretty clever:
http://www.mooncatsastrology.com/webpages/blametheplanets.htm

ya'll hav a lovely green-filled w/e soon comes the Spring Equinox, woo hoo! that's when I start to sprint. I have lived my life based on the Seasons for so long, it's foreign not to. and if your son Auriel does the same, be happy, it's a very natural way to live. I can put you in contact with a bright Aries girl who was raised LDS, and she circled with us randy pags for a few years and really enjoyed it. she's a mom of four, she's like 26 or 27 now, and very talented in astrology, and a great writer (see http://lovestarz.com/venusinpisces.html she did this around when you did All About Star). she was a student of mine for a few years. it seems a steady drumbeat in the dark woods can bring around even a most God-fearing gal lol...and your lil' Lion cub with the moody-broody Moon, aw, that is just so sweet. she will assert her right to do as she wants, sometimes all by herself :^) some of the things that Joy told me she did as a kid are so-o Leo Sun/Cancer Moon, like rearrange her room around at all hours of the night :^) regardless, the I truly think that having Sun/Moon in the signs they rule is priceless, and you don't really see it until you've lived with one or loved one :^) I went with another Leo/Cancer a few years ago, it was more of a once/twice-weekly lusty thing, and she was pretty laid back, other than her passion for four-wheeling and Harleys. She let me get close to her little girls for the couple years we were "buddies", though she was 21 then, and it's usually older moms who guard their young more, I've found. though one time I told the oldest (age 4) Sag girl to stop teasing her 2 year old sister and the Kitty Mama let me have it. no one disciplines her child, she said. so from then on I kept it the same type of relationship despite her consistent, every-few-months mentioning that she wanted to be more serious and one day be married. I loved the kiddos too, took them all out to breakfast every few weeks, played with them a lot... yet at the same time there is something kind of centered about them. Moon in Cancer people are moody-broody to some extent, yet if the Sun is in Leo, it's not the case as much, too much optimism around. kinda neat your little Leo Princess will be willful, I am sure she is now :^) and also Auriel, your son will be just fine on the Path of Wicca, which we've talked about before. just remember, it is just that, a path, like any other path that people are on to enlightenment, and just as valid. It is truly a gentle path. and hopefully he'll get to some gatherings as a young man and find his Inner Satyr...it is just too much fun to follow girls from tree to tree, you have no idea and to know that Aphrodite's got your back ahhh, the past is the past and the present is the present lol :^) I guess the Girl Nation will just have to get along lol ;^)

gods, we afflicted Aquarian Moons, huh? "quirky, zig-zag posts" druid said

hav a lovely weekend fellow 'flakes, chat next week

BB,

Carlo
