Hi Aurial, I wonder if you could help me. Like you, I'm having trouble with my hands. I haven't had to have them operated on though. I hope your hand is feeling better I'm pretty sure I have carpal tunnel, (I find out today). The job I do has caused it, and I can't do it while my hands and wrists are healing. I don't know if I'll really be able to do it anymore long term. The boss is kind of giving me a hard time, and they really play dirty at this company. I'm just wondering what is in store for me in the near future. Finantially and career wise, etc. I'm kind of scared because I don't know how I'm going to support myself if I can't work here. Unemployment would run out in 6 months. I was going to buy some land that I found very cheap and felt now was a good time to do it, but now I just don't know I'm just kind of concerned about how I will support myself in the future. Could you give me some insight? I would be so grateful This would really ease my mind to know the direction I should take Thanks so much, adwen

Adwen....The last time I went for a massage, my massuese mentioned that he'd really helped a couple of people with carpal tunnel. Not even sure how we got on the subject but I was surprised that massage could improve that condition. He was adamant that massage could definitely work. Check into it and I'll see if I can find out what exactly he did and for how long (and how severe the problem was to begin with)What do you think, Auriel? I've never had wrist trouble, but this guy has performed miracles elsewhere. In the meantime, Adwen, will do my best to request some healing for you. IP: Logged |

Adwen~ First, my heart goes out to you that your boss/employer is so insensitive toward your health. That really ticks me off ...I'm so sorry to hear of your concerns and distress I'm sending s to your side...I too have heard wonderful things about massage therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome. Personally, I'd try all avenues before I elected to have surgery cuz I'm allergic to doctors ~Princess ------------------ "I think the Goddess lives in our humanity, and not anywhere else." ~Merlin's last words - to Viviann ~ . + * + . * . Aww, thanks guys. Your guys are the best I'm definitely going to look into massage Yea, that company had done some really rascally (to use Princess' word )things to some of it's employees. I guess I'll just have to remember that I have the law on my side. But it's kind of scary and they're not very happy right now because osha just showed up Well, I went to the doctor today, and luckily, it's not carpal tunnel. She's not quite sure what it is so I have to go to a specialist. They alrealy know I have tendonitus, so mabye it's just accute tendonitus that won't go away I'm still worried, but I'll just have to remember that a door is not closed without one being opened. Take care all, Love, Adwen IP: Logged |

Thanks Randal I'll have to get some tomorrow. I've been thinking lately that I might be lacking something that my joints need. Perhaps it is the B vitimins.

Hi adwen,Sorry, I haven't been around since last Friday. B vitamins and massage do help. I developed the first stage of carpal tunnel when I first started overusing my right hand. I refused to allow it to go farther and found alternative healing methods to be helpful. Try Reiki. It wore me out and I slept for about 12 hours afterwards, but it was the biggest help. Find someone to do it for free. My chiropractor had a Reiki Master in his office and she did mine. She charges for massage therapy and stuff like that, but never the Reiki. Her office was so cool. It was so peaceful. I loved going there. If you change your mind and want me to take a look at your chart, I need your birth data. ------------------ To fall in Love, is to rise. . . . ~Upendra IP: Logged |

Adwen, is this the thread you were referring to? I'm talking to Auriel now on the phone. Her wrist was in very bad shape, and she still answered the ones who she felt were the most urgent (some of them quite long Posts, which further damaged her wrist). She then responded, but you never answered. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |
