As a taurus male that came out of a disastrous relationship with a libra I would have to say that it is definitely not worth investing a lot of time and energy in.I do not understand libras for the life of me. Be prepared to be with someone who wants stability and wants you to himself. Taureans do not like large gatherings. They'd rather be amongst a few good friends and do something they all enjoy. Not a big fan of social circles. But, in my experience, I don't know if a libra-taurus can ever work. Good luck. IP: Logged |

As a Libra woman having been with the same Taurus man for 11 years, I completely disagree with the previous post.Libra/Taurus works very well for my husband and me. In a relationship, two people aren't supposed to be exactly alike. That would be BORING. Our relationship works well because we balance each other out quite nicely. He is TOO grounded. I am TOO flighty. Together we are somewhere in the middle. It's nice. Without me he would just sit around the house, rarely having a good time. With me he laughs, plays, and enjoys himself. Without him, I would play and enjoy myself without thinking of my responsibilities as often as I should. With him, I am able to find a balance between having fun/playing around and taking care of business. We literally complete each other. Taurus/Libra is a fine match. Taurus and Libra are both lovers of beauty, peace and harmony. Both will avoid conflict and tension as much as possible. Libra will need to accept that there are certain things that Taurus does not want to do (mostly socially). Libra will have to learn to do some of these things with out Taurus. Taurus will have to accept there are certain things he must do for the sake of the relationship. As long as both people involved in the relationship are taking part in the giving and the taking, you should get along well. The only problem I can see is if you try to force the Taurus into doing things he doesn't want to do... This will blow up in your face. He needs to be gently encouraged. Keep your Bull well fed and well sexed. If you do, you will have a man that is completely devoted to you. IP: Logged |

Nihilive,Do you have much Air in your chart? Not having any Air would explain why you don't get us Libras. Also, I wonder, do you have trouble connecting with other Air signs? This topic makes me want to break out my copy of Love Signs again. I haven't read the Libra woman/Taurus man section in a while. Welcome to the board, BTW. I hope we'll being hearing more from you. P.S. So... are you agreeing with the food/sex needs of a Taurus? I've yet to meet a Taurus (male or female) that disagrees with me on this point.

Yes, I am definitely agreeing with the food/sex needs of a taurus. That is definitely one of the reasons I was glad to leave my old libra. Never fulfilled an aspect of that bargain. On the other hand, the pisces is pretty insatiable, but I satiated that drive every time it arises. I guess I am a purveyor of tantra of sorts. I've been known for half-a-day long sessions and maybe even 7 times a day of sessions that were broken up into smaller parts. Not to brag or anything, but hehe. IP: Logged |

I was with a Libra for a long time, and he wasn't really into anything physical, very airy man. Still currently I am seeing a Libra/Virgo moon and I can see the attraction because Virgo moon is grounded and mutable and that attracts the Taurus very much.I am a Taurus, and I loove earth moons, get very sassy and sensual. And when you attract a Taurus he or she becomes very subtle and seductive. Taurus tries to be sensual without being slutty, and loves back rubs, massages. Sounds like something worth pursuing for now, but keep it light as Taurus can lose respect easily if you take it to the bedroom too fast. I don't know about any other Knowflakes but the Taurus people I know tend to dislike crudeness. (Pisces is pretty sexy, on a side note) Natasha

Yes! Now that I think about it the libra I was with was also very, very airy. Not into physical that much at all. Rarely needed/wanted sex and was always more preoccupied with thoughts and what not. Also, she always felt that she needed "time to herself" which is all fine and dandy, but the way it was protrayed was that her time was better spent without me, so I left the situation.I am the type of person who needs constant stimulation and constant contact with the people I care about. I will go crazy without it. IP: Logged |

Another Libra Sun here. I have a Scorpio Ascendant plus a lot of planets in Virgo and Scorpio so I have a lot of water/earth to balance me out BUT I don't think I would be a good match for anyone who wants/needs constant contact. I don't know if other Libras are like this but I do need some space/autonomy. Is wanting constant togetherness typical for a Taurus? LoL... the only Taurus example I know of is my father who is has always been overboard jealous and controlling of my mother...... IP: Logged |

I know that I need constant contact, but I can disappear for a couple days, or a week at a time. But I'll always want to be in contact with you.IP: Logged |

Maybe its the Venusian Link.mysticaldream I don't blame him. I have my moon and venus in Taurus. I am very jealous and possessive. The gemini sun doesn't balance it out a bit.

Hehe, wow, this link is revived 4 yrs later! :-O I'd say the Taurus bird has flown away. He was never mine to begin with. He has venus in aries and had many conquests.Bah, yet again, I still don't get taureans either, how they can be so solid and grounded. I know cos my brother is Taurus sun/ Libra moon! Nice thread and thanks for reviving IP: Logged |

The only Libra/Taurus relationships that I know of, off the top of my head are my Libra uncle and his ex Taurus wife, and a Libra friend and her Taurus boyfriend. My uncle and aunts relationship didn't work out...they fought mainly over money and materialistic reasons. And they still fight over these issues even though they are no longer together and live in two different countries. My Libra friend is in a relationship with a Taurus boy. Shes smitten with him...but knows there is no future (marriage) because they are from different religions. Shes Hindu and he's Muslim, and their parents wouldnt ever approve of it. I think her boyfriend is much more hopeful though. His constant need to know how she's doing, what shes doing and where she is right now is attractive to her. She really likes the attention and feels loved. But I wonder how it will play out after more time passes. IP: Logged |
