Can you just confirm your details as can't understand where Pisces Rising is from...

Now your girlfriend.....

On the other thread you said she was a Gemini Rising...
You also said town was "Lower Catskills"
Anyway could only find "Catskill" NY so I used that......

This gives her a Cancer Rising at 4 degrees.

But just noticed on this thread you mention 2 other towns for her birth

Ok now I see "where you're coming from" re ascendants.

If your time of birth was anywhere between 10am and 10:15am you will still be an Aries Rising.
You would have to have been born somewhere (approx) between 8:10am and 9:20am to have Pisces Rising.
I understand that in America all birth times are recorded on your birth certificates??
So you shouldn't need a chart rectification.

ok now still with your Rising.....
Here's something for you to think about.

In your natal chart Neptune (ruler of Pisces) trines your Ascendant - quite tight @ 3 degrees.
This "connection" means that....even if you aren’t a Pisces Sun-Sign, you probably get mistaken for one

I'll use my own chart to explain a little further.....
I am a Virgo Sun but can be mistaken for a Leo Sun.....Why????
Because I have a 1st house Sun (that also conjuncts my Asc). The Sun in this position will give the appearance of a Leo (The Sun's ruler).
Ok and there's more
I am a Virgo Rising but can be mistaken for a Libra Rising.....Why???
Because Venus (Libra's ruler) conjuncts my Ascendant and so gives me that "Venusian" look. It also gives me "Libra traits" so I can be charming and sometimes indecisive

So unless your Mum was wrong in your birth time (see if you can check your birth certificate) then you really are an Aries rising.

Middle Town, NY doesn't come up in any search and I wasn't sure of the other town you mentioned. I tried Montecello and other variations ...but nothing comes up. If I use New York, NY...it still gives her a Cancer Rising.

Can you ask her the name of the town?

Also what is it about the Gemini Rising description that you have read that particually makes you feel she's a Gemini Rising??

Mercury (Gemini's ruler) in her chart makes quite a few aspects....
I'm thinking it may be Mars conjunct Mercury (very tight @ 1 degrees) may be making you feel she's Gemini Rising (either that or she was born earlier. But if she was born after 0:17am then she has Cancer Rising)

Yes the value of an accurate birth time....at least in America it's recorded on your birth certificate.....they don't so that here in England

I have nothing but the greatest respect for Linda Goodman's work. All her books are excellent

Yes the deeper you look into a chart the more interesting/specific it becomes.
If you just take the fact that there are 144 Sun/Moon combinations. That alone shows how all Sun signs aren't the same. So you can imagine how "unique" we all really are when you then start to add in all of the other planetary mixes

And what orb allowance are you using?

Sorry but, I don't have you as having those aspects.Her Pluto quintiles your Venus but your Pluto doesn't make any aspect to her Venus.

Im not sure what to make of the comparisons you found CAT. Nor of the contradiction against what I got from "RELATION SHIP SIGNS". I guees Ill wait untill I get my birth certifecate from the hosoital, and when I get my first pay check from my new job Ill go out and get some books and learn to do it my self.

As far as the Astrology course{once again grate and noble idea Randal} I wouldnt miss it even if I had to leace my body. Ive been awaiting the chance to learne astrology more indepth for,well, ever since I read my first few books on it.
