There's a person I've been interested in, platonically, for quite a while. At first I thought it was because he reminded me of someone I've had issues with in the past (same sun/moon combo even). The classic case of wanting to re-live the old friendship but 'do it right' this time, whatever that means.

He does have his obvious faults but is pretty darn intelligent too. He's also super friendly at times, which I think is making it hard for me to be objective about him.

Anyway, we seem to think alike a lot of the time, but when I try to communicate with him in a way that I'm certain he'll understand he tends to knock me back (although communicates in this same manner when opening out to a good friend of mine). Grr, I knew I was right, lol.

I've found out quite a bit about him through this friend and feel for him a bit but won't let myself become swept completely into the sympathy thing. Perhaps I should let it go, but I don't want to give up something with the possibility of a real connection.

Maybe it's just the fact that he gets so morbid at times which makes what he says seem to have 'added weight' (rather than any direct affinity between the two of us).

Who knows

It's just irritating when I make up my mind to leave him be, then he comes out with something that could have come from the depths of my own soul.

I have had a quick look at our synastry but I'm no expert. I notice his venus closely conjunct my descendant though I know you can't judge from one aspect alone, this seems one of the more significant - second opinions?? Also, the composite chart shows sun square pluto which sometimes indicates people who are strongly connected and grow to know each other very well indeed (wishful thinking perhaps?)

Can anyone help here? (I'd prefer to give the data in private)

i looked at your chart first, before doing a synastry, and i want to share with something.

when i looked at your chart, i got this feeling that you are scared with me helping you out for some reason. i guess, i sense your fear of someone looking at you, and a lack of trust . . .

i really don't know what else to say, except that if you aren't ready, than that's okay. there's always next time.

just a funny feeling i wanted to share with you.

Thanks for letting me know It's odd, though, because as far as I'm concerned, I'm perfectly willing to let you help me on this topic, but perhaps I'm unaware of deeper fears on my part. I admit though there've been a few 'games' and issues with the friend I mentioned which has made me a little suspicious and mistrustful in general.

Perhaps that is what you sense?

To be honest here, my need to know what is going on far outweighs any fear, and I've been helped in the past astrology-wise.

I'd really appreciate it if you had a look regardless, as long as you have the time of course!

when i looked at your chart yesterday, i saw the 4th house stellium and it's few aspects to pluto and a few other outer planets. but to be honest, i felt a big blank and a NO feeling.

perhaps another time soon.

i'm looking at the synastry chart, and i realized some things. because you have such a strong stellium in the 4th house, and the only other planets outside this house are pluto, saturn, jupiter, uranus, and mars; which sit on either side in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, with the north node in cancer in the 10th . . . these things reveal that one of your lessons in this life is to cultivate a view of the outside world like status, power, social prestige through your emotional lense, the moon (which also conjuncts neptune) using your intuition. due to the planetary placements that your soul has chosen in this life, i suspect that you have grown into a highly specialized personality, and that it might probably be a challenge for you to freely interact with many different people. i think this is why you may be attracted to this individual because this person has planetary energies that interact easier with yours than would be another person's. another interesting bit worth noting is that none on your planets are retrograde, though the asteroid chiron is at 23 taurus in the 8th house. there will probably also be experiences of wounding and pain interacting with activities associated with the 8th (death, sex, transformation, inheritances) that would be filtered through your 4th house stellium, since venus rules taurus, and this is the sign your chiron is in.

in the synastry, i did feel that you two would get a long temperament wise, and that there could be some attraction---if you two actually pursue it.

i also looked at the composite chart, and it is very quite interesting. the ascending degree is 29 degrees cancer, 29 degrees capricorn descending with sun, mars, jupiter, mercury and venus in the 7th house of partners and marriage. since the sign is capricorn, even with the stellium, things are apt to become very cool, and conservative. a hint of control. the only thing of worry is pluto squaring the composite sun, mars and jupiter in the 7th. i suspect in the long-term, there will be control and power issues to contend with, and a need to keep caution against huge monetary losses under the silence of capricorn.
