in the meantime, would you post his birth information, with birth city, and try with your best ( i have faith in you ) to get his birth time?

without a birthtime, i cannot discern exactly in which house his planets and aspects corrolate. however, i was able to pull up a chart using 12 noon, so here goes:

your friend has his sun and mars opposite his neptune, which indicates indeed, confusion will be prevalent. his mercury is opposite uranus and jupiter, so he will sometimes promise more than he can give, and there will be moments of mental anxiety, (possible panic attacks if pushed too far). hmm, i suspect the part about him not being able to "explain or understand" his confusion has more to do with the communication with the two of you. he actually has his sun, mars, and north node making tight trines with pluto and saturn---which means he can express himself very well, balanced, and with perservance . . . although on a more abstract, theoretical and intellectual level. transiting saturn is conjuncting his sun, which can instill a sort of silence on him temporarily. he needs peace to sort out the lessons saturn has for him. uranus is trining his sun also, which will help him out by giving *flashes* of insight into things.

romantically speaking, neptune will soon make a tight opposition with his venus, which can result in confusion about his own affections in relationships, and an aura of uncertainty.

thanks it's good to know there's a fan this is a lot of good practice being here to help out.

now that i just went back to check my unopened e-mails (hehe randall), yes, he has offered an address. sure!

tonight i'm going to go through a whole list of requests that i said i'd look at. i'm grateful people are nice enough to wait.

oh btw, i just realized the other day that pluto squares my ascendant. i haven't been able to find an interpretation for this. does anyone have any ideas?

i looked at his chart with the 2:00 am birth time, and what i've written above still stands.

he is very smart, and has a high degree of emotional intelligence.

i really think the factors contributing to his confusion are his pre-existing aspects with mars, north node, and sun in the 3rd house opposite neptune in the 9th, and transiting saturn conjuncting the third house energies. in simple terms, because his neptune (the planet of fanstasy, mysticism, dreams, spiritual aspirations, surrender) is conjunct his saggitarius south node in the 9th house, he has most likely gotten away in his past lives with living with dreams, and quite possibly developed a mental laziness in taking the time spiritually to learn what is real and what is not in understanding God, universal laws, and the cosmos. in a more exalted state, he could have mastered, or come to a better understanding of these cosmic principles and gradually move on to this life's mission, to communicate with people what he has learned spiritually, and to help people learn how to make profound revelations in their own lives. his moon is in the 7th house conjunct saturn and pluto (making grand trines with the north node!), indicates a real possibility that he will be attracted to public service. now, these positive things are on a higher plane, and if he has achieved this state, the potential is there for him to achieve.

for now, saturn is conjuncting his mars, north node and saturn in the third house, which i would interpret as a time for him to learn how to communicate precisely, honestly, and with utmost integrity with his peers. these are his challenges, and he will be placed in situations that will teach him what he needs to know. i suspect you are part of his lesson, in that you notice his confusion, and are working with him to develop a clearer mind. saturn at this time is helping resolve a lot of inaccuracies he has accumulated over many life times, and i imagine it can be quite tough when the things one thought were once true, are not, simply because extra time, thought, and care was not taken. naturally, he will be frustrated with his peers, what his own values are, and being told again and again, to do things right when he thought he was doing them right in the first place.

my only suggestion is for him to face the challenges, and not fight against them necessarily. but to use this time to better understand himself and how to communicate clearly to eventually become wiser and to fulfill this life's destiny.
