i was reading a sample reading and it was said that the moon(leo 19degrees 13'20) and the asc(virgo 5 degrees 11'18) was conjunct. How can that be? Thank you!

Hmm, where did you get the sample reading from?

A conjunction really shouldn't be more than 10 degrees apart (and that's allowing a very generous orb!!)

So 19 degrees Leo and 5 degrees Virgo = 16 degrees, which is way too wide to be a conjunction.
