You know about my Love. Well, certain Vedic Astrologers in India have predicted that we will certainly break-up soon or later, if we marry. I know one can choose their path even if they are being swayed by the Stars' influence, and I wouldn't leave 'her' for anything in the world, no matter what the consequences may be.

But, I confess I do have a little worry at the back of my mind. It is about Saturn's transit through Cancer, from mid-2003 to mid-2005. If 'we' can survive that, we will susrvive ANYTHING. But this transit seems to be quite daunting. Could you please let me know how you FEEL about the transits I and she will be facing? Here are the details:

I have (as you know) Mercury, Venus, Mars, Pluto, Juno and PT Fortune ~ all in Libra. My rising sign is Cancer.

M (my Love) is a Libra Sun and Libra Rising, and has her Uranus and Pluto in Libra. She also has Saturn in Cancer.

So, when Saturn transits Cancer, these are the transits we will be facing:

She:

* Saturn square Sun
* Saturn square Ascendant
* Saturn square Uranus
* Saturn square Pluto

I:
* Saturn in First House
* Saturn square Mercury
* Saturn square Venus
* Saturn square Mars

What will it be like, Auriel? Is separation likely?

I just wanted to say that I have just gone through Saturn sq Mars, Saturn sq Pluto, Saturn sq Mercury, Saturn sq Venus, Saturn sq Asc (opposing descendant), Saturn sq Sun, Saturn opposed Moon (still got another 2 whacks of that to go). I now have Saturn opposed Chiron and Chiron square Saturn with Saturn sq Saturn also approaching.
And Pluto decided he didn't want to be left out and so squared everything as well........

It's been very hard, I've learnt so much that my head's still spinning......but I'm still here and smiling.

For sure they are not easy transits but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Saturn is determined to teach us, he's a tough task master but I truely believe that he always has our best interests at heart. A bit like a doctor making you take "yucky" medicine - but it always makes you better and stronger

I can agree it must have been a tough time. And yes, I agree transits like these ultimately help us grow. I must have been through some tough transits earlier too (when I was unaware of Astrology), and survived them. No reason I won't survive the forthcoming ones. But that being said, you know how hypochondriac Virgos think thems-elves ill!

Going by the wisdom you emanate, you certainly have utilized well the spiritual development potantial of the transits.

Auriel, you and Randall, by surviving inspite of your tough current transits, have inspired me too! Thanks!

BTW, this isn't the first hit Randall and I've had--Uranus and Saturn have been all over us for about a year now. Somehow we've managed to ride out the others--sometimes with ease and sometimes not, but we somehow always manage to find each other. Love conquers all.

I am no Astrology expert, but have studied only the basics. I have NO idea what all of your transits mean, but from your words, I can tell they are serious with major challenges ahead. What I can offer you, is some "Other" type of (Libra) advice.

I don't have to tell you how understanding Libra's are naturally, because you and your girl already know. You live and breathe it. I have never seen so many Libra influences in ANYONE'S chart before. Wow!
My advice for you and for other's in this situation is to have many moments of deep BONDING with each other. If you don't make the time, you could be in trouble. I sense your concern that you feel you could possibly lose your girl during those rough aspects, so why not lay down the ground work NOW? Do it Elohim. Then there will be no regrets or room for guilt later.
If she is into Astrology as well, she will understand. Sit her down, grab her hand and look into her eyes and say, sweetheart, I'd like to take a moment, to have a serious talk with you about my concerns involving our relationship during these tough times.
I need you to know that they will hit us in a most profound way, and whatever transpires in our moments of unbearable conflicts of growth and adjustments, I just want you to know that I still LOVE you no matter what we may be going through. I need you to fully understand that this is beyond our control and it will take two people (us) to be aware of those challenging times when it occurs. Understand completely that it is not YOU!
With your help, your love, patience and understanding, we can overcome this. Let's not be defeated.
Then make a commitment to that agreement.
Once you both become involved in the challenges of those placements and something comes up where your fighting, just remind yourselves of your agreement. Give each other space to vent. Make use of that unconditional love theme. Wait for days of peace and harmony, and during those times, do something special together. I would suggest joint meditations with emphasis on your love for each other. Meditations should also include compassion, harmony and tolerance. That's a start. Then bond in other ways with constant reassurance of your love for her. Pamper her. We love that! Write out your confessions of love for her on notepads and post them in different places in the house. Do it to remind yourselves of the love you share.
During arguments, people are generally too heated to think logically in those situations, but if you had reminders in the form of a Post, it could help out by calming them down and reassuring the love and commitment. When your both calm again, it can lighten the atmosphere tremendously.
Leave her notes where she least expects it. A woman's heart is always open to receive kindness and love from her lover no matter what the situation is. As long as she knows that her lover is genuine.

You are also right about a woman's heart always being open to receive kindness and love from her lover, even in difficult situations. I have seen it happen.
