Hi Auriel,
Took me a while but I finally found you all again, how exciting.

Hope all your kidlets are doind well, mine are both teenagers now and ain't that a blast. I love it, there's never a dull moment, that's for sure!

We've had a very up and down year this year, but I feel as though things are on the up, at last, fingers crossed.

I've sent Randall a message to hopefully be included in the Astrology course, which would be sensational.

I decided that my shop has to wait until Pluto has vanished from my life, just not sure if I could cope with all that pressure at once and, hey, I've waited this long what's a few more years when you have a dream. Mine are made of sterner stuff, so in the meantime I've finished a Nurses Aid course that entitles me to work with aged people or as an assistant in a hospital, which I'm looking forward to.

Anyway, just thought I'd drop in to say hi.

About my kids, they're doing okay. Aneasha recently turned 11 and is going through some challenges, but she's really turning to me, and I know she'll be alright. She has a forum here on the site--Teen Spirit. She's very proud of it and named it herself. Joshua recently turned 16, and his father just bought him a brand new truck. I went through the roof when I found out about it tonight, but I'll calm down in about five years. Other than the truck (that I have issues with, but of course he doesn't ) he's doing great, especially in school. Kassiana recently turned 6 and is sweet as ever, when she's not being a stubborn, holy terror. She's doing exceptional in school and already writing in full sentences. As for me, I'm doing pretty good. I'm living in Georgia now. I have a demanding life, but that's nothing new.

( I'm addicted to these smilies ~ aren't they fun ! )

Auriel,

Great to hear you're all doing well, not to mention the "truck" thing, good god, what was he thinking???? Can kids drive at 16 there? Over here you can get your "L" plates at 16, but still have to have an adult with you for two years, thank god.

How's hubby, hmmmm, depends on which day you ask, certainly hasn't been an easy year, to say the least.

20 Years on and it's still a learning process, but these things are here to teach me patience, which naturally I'm yet to master!

See you soon

Hi Poops. Here in the US, it depends on which state you live in. In the state my son is in, he was able to get his permit at 15 and his license at 16. There's a couple of things that made me irate over the truck. The first is he ordered it during a Merc Rx. Grant it, he doesn't believe in all that "voodoo," but I do and as Joshua's mother, I should have a say too, even if I'm not the one making the truck payments. The 2nd is the truck isn't appropriate for a teenager. It's top heavy. I have a Toyota 4 Runner up in MT and I know exactly how they drive. Joshua needs something that's more balanced in the dimensions--it needs to be wider. Joshua has Mercury in Leo conjuncting his ASC, which makes me a bit uncomfortable, especially with the truck he's going to have. Thankfully, he has Mars in sensible Cappy, but that won't help my nerves when Saturn moves into Cancer next year and opposes his Mars and squares his Libra in his 3rd house of transportation at the same time. I know he understands spiritual protection....but he'll always be my baby and I'll always worry about him.

G'Day Auriel ,

Oh my god, the kids get their license at 16??? That is enough for any mother to go grey overnight
I'll be thinking of you

Thankfully I still have 4 & 5 years to wait before mine can be behind the wheel alone, which is still not long enough for my liking, but as my mother says, you just never stop worrying about your 'own', no matter how old they are, and I'm starting to beleive it!

My son has Mars in Leo but luckily it is sextile Jupiter in the 12th, which seems to give me some piece of mind

Good Luck Auriel, I'm sure it will all work out fine
