Hey...(I had this posted in "Ask the Astrologer", but i figured that this would be more appropriate place:
I know that Aries and Capricorn aren't supposed to be such a great couple, but I'm an Aries/f and I've really fallen for a Capricorn guy! My other male Capricorn friend tells me I should just be upfront with letting him know I like him..but I'm not sure if he's feeling me the way I'm feeling him. He always compliments me and flirts with me and keeps asking to hang out with me...but I'm not totally sure he wants a serious relationship yet. I, on the other hand, am definately looking for something serious.
Anyway...basically I have 2 questions:
*How do I let him know I like him? (should i even let him know??)
*Do you think it'd work out- an Aries female and Capricorn male?

I told him i like him last night. He said "yeah I kinda knew that" and was smiling. But then, he totally changed the subject. He hasnt acted different towards me or anything, and he still flirts just the same, so I can't tell what's up with him? Should I ask him? or should i just play it out?

i dunno if i can help u..but here goes..the lack-of-seroiusness in his behavior doesnt mean he's that!Most likely, that's his defense.He doesnt seem the typical cappy.why dont u give me more details regd his birth time ,place etc. I will tell u a little secret..next time u meet him & he does the flirty act,try looking into his eyes...i mean really look!

Hi!! Thanks for replying to my post, it really means a lot to me  I don't know his time or place of birth....the date is January 9, 1986 though. I'm pretty sure he was born in Pennsylvania, USA though. Do you think you can find anything out with that information? Thanks SOOO much!!!!!

well, even if technically capricorns and arieses don't mix well, there is probably a lot to be gained from a relationship between you, even if it is challenging. being a taurus, i've found that my relationships with aquarians and leos- the two signs square to mine- are some of the most enduring and rewarding, because we teach each other so much! there will be much to work on, and you will have many opinions that contrast each other. but, in many ways, ive noticed that square signs seem to hit each others' blind spots, right where they need some sight, and they really open each other up to new things. (i'm not sure if this is a 'rule' in astrology, its just what ive personally noticed) i love my kitties and water bearers! if there is enough compatability to where you dont hate each other but are instead flirting and sort of hitting it off i say go for it!IP: Logged |

Hey, thanks for all the advice and help guys! But I've decided to forget about that guy...I got tired of waiting...I'm very impatient if you can't tell.
Now though, I like ANOTHER Capricorn guy...but the problem with him is he's got a girlfriend! I know he likes me...we've actually dated before..and he has liked me for about 6 years now!! I don't know if I'll have a chance with him anymore since he's got a girl and all...but he did say (to my friend) that if he wasn't with her, he'd definately want to be with me. I think I might want him so bad because I feel like i can't have him or something...I don't know..I guess I'll just let things play out and see what happens

I cannot do Astrology but am an Aries female who had a 2 year relationship with a Capricorn male.I needed to go through this relationship for personal growth but have to say it was severely disfunctional - probably from our personal backgrounds - but communication was a big problem. Hello. I've only posted once - many moons ago....and I paused when I read the heading ARIES/CAPRICORN. For it is this VERY "couple" that has me so confused. You see, my first love is/was an Aries (male) and I am a Capricorn Girl. We met over 10 years ago, and needless to say that relationship was hurtful, but the friendship was/is strong. Even to this day I find myself unable to let the relationship go, and also find myself VERY jealous! Jealous in regard to getting and keeping his attention. This is VERY anti-cappy and confusing in many ways. I am engaged now to the sweetest man alive - a GEMINI. There is NO WAY he could be anything other than my twin. It is for THIS and MANY MORE reasons that I have to say BE CAREFUL to all of those cappygirl's out there. I have resolved to not contact my Aries, although I know that I would continue to come back for more (abuse -not mental or physical, just the sign-conflict type of abuse, HONEST!) if I allowed myself. I remain his friend, but rely on him to contact ME. I CAN say this however - I agree with Linda 1000% as far as Aries' PURE INNOCENCE. I have and will always feel that way about ARIES. I have had 2 ARIES' partners and one of them WAS abusive - but I had to let my forgiving nature "go" and let him GROW - away from me, but not before he did lots of damage to me, mentally. I just read your reply and I don't even know if you're going to get this, but oh well. Wow, you're engaged to a Gemini? That's so interesting. Hah, my last serious relationship was with a Gemini..and although we're not together anymore we're still very close friends and I have a feeling that our "love relationship" isn't over yet. What you said about one of your previous Aries b/f's: "I have had 2 ARIES' partners and one of them WAS abusive"..Yeah, Aries tend to be like that...especially the men, they just can't control their tempers for some reason  I have 2 Aries friends that are guys, and although they are completely loyal to their girlfriends, their tempers do flare up and I get really worried for the girls
Anyway...I'm over that Cappy guy (I tend to get over things quick like that ), and I've met a Leo that I'm falling for sooo quickly. You have no idea HOW incredibly happy I was to find out he was a Leo!! I think I've finally hit the jackpot

Hello - Annesia.
I have to say that I have always found that my so-called "easier" matches - Virgo/Taurus/Capricorn - have always done nothing but made me search for more of a Balance. The one and only (besides my father - and believe me he's enough) Capricorn I have ever tried to get to know, did nothing but cause misunderstandings, frustrate and infuriate me - to NO end! He reminded me constantly of my father. Since we had the same weaknesses and strengths - it was hard to progress. Even though it made it easier to understand WHY he was doing and acting certain ways....it did not help "change" either one of us. Although his sensitivity was there for me the one time I needed it - I had to say goodbye to him. TAURUS - oooohhhh uuugggghhh! The ONE sign/man I could NOT win an arguement with. I could not stand to "bow down" to him. I used to call him my caveman - very close to Truth unfortunately. VIRGO - always seemed to like me more than I liked them. Although the 2 Virgo's I knew (and still know) were my VERY best friends. So when I decided to CHUCK them all (including those 2 Aries mentioned earlier), and look for a friend....I found my Gemini.
