Just Like Heaven
The Cure

"Show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream" she said
"The one that makes me laugh" she said
And threw her arms around my neck
"Show me how you do it and I promise you
I promise that I'll run away with you
I'll run away with you"

Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face and kissed her head
And dreamed of all the different ways I had
To make her glow
"Why are you so far away?" she said
"Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you?
That I'm in love with you?"

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Strange as angels
Dancing in the deepest oceans
Twisting in the water
You're just like a dream...

Daylight licked me into shape
I must have been asleep for days
And moving lips to breathe her name
I opened up my eyes
And found myself alone
Alone
Alone above a raging sea
That stole the only girl I loved
And drowned her deep inside of me

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Just like heaven

I wish to have someone as romantic as Robert

Anyone have his birth details?

Here's ze luv song!

Hi Miss Fajita!

"How is it in SF? Do you ever go to Zuni?"

San Francisco is real nice. I moved out here a year and a half ago and have enjoyed waking up everyday here The primary motivation was work, second was for the relationship I was in at the time. I was in college and was able to carry on a long-distance relationship for two years. I traveled to and from the city from Sacramento. Then I moved out here and realized in this past year the relationship was not as fulfilling as I desired. I felt neglected for a long time. It took a while to finally extract myself from it.

Truthfully, the feeling of being alone and neglected persisted for so long, that breaking up did not hurt as much as I thought it would, strange as that sounds.

So, this is part of my experience in SF

I have seen Zuni, however had not had a chance to visit it yet. There is a very cute French restaurant I went to last week called Galette in Pacific Heights. That was the first time I ate buckwheat crepes!

How is Florida? I bet wonderful. My flatmate Chris recently moved from there, and his parents were with us on Christmas Eve (they live in Florida for the winter).

Cheers,

Aphrodite

Hi Amy,

Sorry to intrude, but I just had to tell you I'm sorry to hear about the dissolution of your relationship. I guess that's why I never looked at your dream when you had it.... I remember what I saw when I opened your chart.... So, still see the dream guy?

Hi Auriel,

Aww, thanks for the kind sentiment. Nothing really to be sorry about, 'tis just how it went. A time for beginnings and a time for endings. I broke up with him after Halloween, after hundreds of hours of thought.

As for Mr. Dream guy, hehe. What happened was when I sent out those vibes last year of "I'm not available for you," he caught on and found himself another lady I saw them together at a Christmas party, and they look cute

I hope you are doing well.

Love,

Amy

Hi Amy, I'm doing very well for the first time in months. I thought I was doing well before, but until I stepped off the merry go round, and found my center again, I didn't realize I was caught up in the career trap. I'm back to taking time to meditate again, do astrology, and basically take my life back. I really missed doing astrology.... Hey, speaking of astrology....I know you don't have a lot of time, but if you get some, would you look at bb's chart for her, please? One of them just isn't opening up to me, and I wonder if you could gain anymore insight for her.

Take care, Amy. (((Big hugs to you.)))

Thank you Aphrodite for choosing the song I KNEW I LOVED YOU BEFORE I MET YOU..as your first song on this very special tribute to LOVE thread. Auriel, THIS SONG is the song that speaks of the feeling when I met him. Absolutely, without reason or season. Beyon d Time as we know it, in Divine Time would be my closest understanding of it. Forever backwards and forwards. Inside out.A Path..

Thanks for being back here,Auriel, it is so nice to read your comments and watch you spread your Light in SoulUnions. Aptly named. Love Flame
Auriel, I do think this song speaks to me of the Future, too.
Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes
I see my future in an instant.

This is THE SONG and the only song that I have found is the feeling about our meeting.I wonder who actually wrote it and how it came into being. And it is on the CD called the Affirmation CD. Anyone know about this?

LIGHT MY FIRE
The Doors

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire

Smooth
Carlos Santana
(featuring Rob Thomas)

Man it's a hot one
Like seven inches from the midday sun
I hear you whisper and the words melt everyone
But you stay so cool
My munequita, my Spanish Harlem Mona Lisa
Your my reason for reason
The step in my groove
And if you say this life ain't good enough
I would give my world to lift you up
I could change my life to better suit your mood
Cause you're so smooth
And just like the ocean under the moon
Well that's the same emotion that I get from you
You got the kind of lovin that can be so smooth
Gimme your heart, make it real
Or else forget about it
I'll tell you one thing
If you would leave it would be a crying shame
In every breath and every word
I hear your name calling me out
Out from the barrio, you hear my rhythm from your radio
You feel the turning of the world so soft and slow
Turning you round and round

Aphrodite thanks for all the inspiring words.
I believe this to be Robert Smith's Birth details...
21st April 1959
Blackpool England.
Don't know the time
He is Taurus Sun Libra Moon.
I guess that kinda explains his romantic lyrics, Same sun and moon as Shakespeare.
( And Sid Vicious too, hmmm )

I just KNEW he had to have a positive Moon-Venus aspect! Eeek, Venus in Gemini! Go figure! The Moon-Saturn, and Sun-Pluto aspects probably influence the dark, moody emphasis in how he expresses himself.

More Than Words
Extreme

Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words
Now I've tried to talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands and touch me
Hold me close don't ever let me go
More than words is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words

If You're Gone
Matchbox 20

I think I've already lost you
I think you're already gone
I think I'm finally scared now
You think I'm weak - But I think you're wrong
I think you're already leaving
Feels like your hand is on the door
I thought this place was an empire
But now I'm relaxed I can't be sure

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - I think too much
I know this is wrong it's a problem I'm dealing

(Chorus)
If you're gone maybe it's time to come home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone baby you need to come home
Cuz there's a little bit of something in me
In everything in you

I bet you're hard to get over
I bet the moon just won't shine
I bet my hands I can stay here
I bet you need more than you mind

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling

(Chorus)

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - do I talk too much
I know it's wrong it's a problem I'm dealing.

Symphony No. 1
Gustav Mahler

Click here to listen: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/classical/mahler1.shtml

I was at the symphony last week and listened to Symphony No. 9. It was so beautiful. I closed my eyes and felt like I was in heaven. Mahler is one of my very favorite composers.

Enjoy
