I bought myself half a dozen deep red roses yesterday. And a necklace with amber stones. And a jar of pumpkin pie salt scrub. A straight double latte. Exchanged glances with georgous men seated at sidewalk cafes. Hehe, now you know someone who is having fun for this holiday  I may top it with a warm chocolate cake. How about everyone else? Hi!
I intend to go see Daredevil with my two cousins...then finish off the evening in our usual coffe house and laugh away the rest of the evening!Ben Affleck in a tight red leather suit?could be worse things to see!And my Aquarian sun,Capricorn moon and Sag ascendant husband will not even notice it's a special occasion..and to tell you the truth I agree with him....but I will spoil myself a little more than usual.I'll get some tulips as well ....maybe a couple of magazines and a cheesecake!IP: Logged |

i'll buy anyone roses, most of all myself.  just bought pink ones the other day.
cheesecake...choclit cake...yum..yummmy!

Another Singleton (hey, I may not be British, but I loved Bridget Jones' diary! hehe)I think I will buy myself some Godiva truffles...mmm...Godiva truffles...now I feel about as uncouth as Homer Simpson... One of my friends wanted to have a party, but it doesn't interest me. I think I'll just pop in Anne of Green Gables, or some cheesy musical like Lili or Gigi and have a glass of wine... IP: Logged |

Hi Everyone!Thanks Mazz, I hope yours goes great too. The best Valentine's present I am giving myself is attending a 3-day intense seminar on descontructing unconscious thinking patterns and behaviors within mysELF. I need this conscious realization aka "wake up call" in order to give myself a true chance in stepping forward with my life.   Mmmmh . . . Homer Simpson Just kidding. I liked Bridget Jones' Diary too! That is a great movie.

Aprodite I'm another single, but we're ok aren't we, I mean, so much freedom, we can do what we want, when we want, eat loads of chocolate and watch girlie flicks, go out dancing all night... all that quality time .... Yeah we are all the women independent aren't we! Really though I can't believe I'm on my own again this Valentine's lol. At least we're not on our own peeps, yeah we ARE alone on Valentine's day but we singles are single altogether ...

Every day is a single day...hehe...but I agree. Why not have an official one?I didn't have to buy those chocolates after all.
