Normally I wouldn't worry about dating an Aries, but this guy I'm seeing happens to be an Aries cusp (b. 3/21/71)...and he swears that he has some Pisces in him. Never dated a Pisces, so I'm curious to what others think about this. I'm a Leo with a Scorpio moon and Gemini Rising. I really like this guy...just wondering how the planets may affect our future (if we have one!). IP: Logged |

As far as I can see, he is an Aries but, he is on the cusp. So he takes some of the Pisces traits with him. This is interesting becuz my X was 3/20. Pisces on the cusp of Aries. This is what I found out for you. An Aries-Pisces Is headstrong and impulsive but longs for peace and solitude. They resent it when others intrude or interfere with their plans. They have powerful intellects and enjoy probing new ideas. They are individualists and are warm and sympathetic. They get along well with other people and are passionate lovers. Sounds great!!! Good luck!!!IP: Logged |

Thanks glitter, for the info! Yeah, he seems like a great guy. Right now, I'm trying to find out his moon...not sure of the time of his birth but I think it's either Capricorn or Saggitarius. His birthday is 3/21/71. IP: Logged |

Hi, WakeUpMaggie! I just looked at your guy's data and he is definitely an Aries with absolutely no water in his chart. I could be wrong, but I think you are the sign you are, even if your Sun is at 0 degrees. That cusp thing applies for planets in houses, not for planets in signs. But don't take my word for it, check with more experienced astrologers on this site, I'm sure they all know. You should get along alright, both being fire signs, a lot better than with a Pisces, but these are only generalizations - as the relationship progresses, other things in the chart come to the surface... Maybe someone here'll give you a synastry reading Good luck! IP: Logged |

Hi Morgana! Thanks for the info...hmmmm, things have changed somewhat between me and this guy since I posted last! Not sure if it's a love connection, if you get my drift...he is pulling away and well, it may have more to do with me and my choice of men vs. anything astrological! Then again, my Scorpio moon has been known to sabotage quite a few relationships, so maybe I should just wait and see?! The weird thing is that I dated an Aries in High School and this guy is SO different from him. "Aries 1" was much more extroverted and exuberant...much more affectionate and he had the greatest sense of humor. But maybe it's not fair to compare two Aries' together...they no doubt had different moons and other planetary discrepancies, right? BTW,. what is a synastry reading? Never heard of that... Probably different Moons and Ascendants, yes. I think this guy of yours might have a Capricorn Moon so maybe that's this lack of enthusiasm and extrovertedness that you sense - Capricorn is a very serious sign. Synastry reading is a relationship reading, a comparison of two charts. There are also composites, charts that combine the two sets of data (of the two persons) and come up with one chart that is a chart of the relationship of the two. Here are some free horoscopes you can try out: http://www.astro.com/horoscopes/ahor.asp?cid=xqafileaA3WFL-u1009997442&nhor=4&nho2=1 morgana IP: Logged |

LOL, I think you are absolutely right, morgana! I just did some research on the Cappy moon...he seems to fit the description to a "T" (or is that a "C"?). Interestingly, it seems that the Cappy moon is even more challenging than a Scorpio moon in terms of placement. After reading a few descriptions, I'm a bit inclined to stay away from him now! Thanks for the astro link; I've actually been using it a lot lately. Great site!

No Glitter,That is incorrect, (but don't worry a lot of people get mistaken, including myself, when I first started astrology). A person can only be one Sun Sign (not mixed) so if he was born during the Midnight hours of the 21st then he's a Pisces. But if he was born during the day then he's an Aries. If he's a Pisces, then your relationship with him will be good, but still you are very different from one another. Communication will have to be worked on using patience and some tolerance. If he starts to be shy or silent with you, just tenderly console him, and make him feel more relaxed, by being very nice, patient, and non-judgemental. You'll be able to express your feelings a lot more then he will, and he might be a little passive, but he'll always be kind and have a good listening ear. Don't worry, once he stops being shy, he'll supply as much love as you want and sex will feel very transcedental. Since your the Fire sign, you will be dominant on the outside, but since he's water, he will be dominant on the inside. The good thing about Fire and Water, is that even though they fear each other, they can find a way to balance one another in a perfect Yin-Yang. If he's an Aries, then your relationship should be harmonious and friendly, since your both similar. But there may be a lot of arguments and some selfish pride between the both of you. Although, there will be a lot of passion and love, you should not allow arguments and anger to get too carried away. Or else everything you built for each other will be blown away like ash. There will be some considerable jealousy between the both of you. Still, there will be a lot of romance and sexual love. If you didn't feel a instant love connection at the first moments of meeting each other. Then this guy could be nothing more then a wonderful date or nice love interest for the time being. Thanks, Starlover, for your feedback...but do you think that these kinds of things are always determined at a first meeting? My last serious boyfriend/love of my life was a casual acquaintence that I had absolutely no interest in ...until fate stepped in. Then again, he broke my heart, so maybe you ARE right! IP: Logged |
