I'm not even looking. I'm going to be a celibate Fish. It's not that hard - I can either turn it on or off; I've just got to withdraw that part of myself. Thanks for the hug, RRR >wipes cheek< IP: Logged |

Ahhh, proxieme...yeah, the IDEA of love is a crock, but love itself isn't. But I've been having days like that myself. Fell in love with a guy who...well, let's just say I thought he was THE ONE and it looks like he wasn't. Uranus is transiting my 7th, gonna hit my Chiron then my Mars, so I'm holding out hope, but...since it's Uranus, it might just bring another temporary thing.Anyway, didn't mean to make this about ME! LOL I hope you're feeling better soon...you're a cool chick, I really enjoy your posts, they're fun.

Come on guys!! Even at my age, I haven't lost hope. There is someone out there who will want a relationship that will fulfill us both. When its time, it will happen. Until then, I'm happy with myself.Lanny IP: Logged |

Right now I am in a period of exploration! I've stopped looking for "the one" since I've already loved a few times before I know I can love a few times more.------------------ food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

proxieme, you're a Pisces, has Saturn in Gemini been dancing all over you? It'll be in Taurus soon, which might offer some relief... IP: Logged |

hi corri, "little black cloud." cute i just wanted to share with you the coolest thing. my virgo roommate is going through some similar things. anyway, last night i was at a meeting and met a man who is a chiropractor who expressed, "i want to be in a relationship, yet i am single." hmm, i said to him my roommate is single too and i think you may like her interested? "yes i would love to meet her." now i just have to tell my roommate i've set up a date for her. teeheehee. her constant racket is that she doesn't get offers for dates. now she has one! point of story---let the people around you know what's up with ya and what you want. people genuinely want to be included in your life and a lot will surprise you and do things you would think be out of their way. aphrodite IP: Logged |

*grumble*(again) >bats little black cloud around< tril - p'haps that's it. >moves tongue around in mouth, making funny faces< I dunno. You're probably right. >stares into space, listening to Radiohead< Aph - I'm trying to be positive. I really am. *bleh* It's just...not...getting...out. I mean, I don't want *a relationship*; I guess I want a really cool friendship/partnership w/ exclusively groovy, intense, and constant sex thrown in. There've been a few potentials for the former, but none so far for the latter. *bleh* (again) But then I feel stupid, needy, and, well...that about sums it up...for wanting the it. I should be able to stand on my own & not need anyone else. And I am, really - it's just kinda starting to suck. But I guess the prideful part of me (esp that Scorp Rising) would rather have nothing on that front than something mediocre that doesn't really satisfy. Of course, I'm not giving any of them a chance; but then, they're just not interesting me. Eh. >lays on back, lazily continues to bat cloud about< IP: Logged |

hi proxieme,i know exactly how you mean. i really do. auriel did a reading for me a few months back that pretty much summed up what you're saying. that desire for a friend, partner, & lover all in one to inhabit a soul space with and nothing less. send that wish out to the universe hun to share with you my experience, i went out on a lot of dates. A LOT. i just kept looking, and looking. it was a fun way to spend the time. though, i always knew that "hmm, not quite" feeling i'd get. the "do we connect?" question, and "would i be cool with the person just the way he is?" there were a few times when i'd just given up and almost gave in to something mediocre. it's a struggle. keep your chin up and think of a mantra that will get you up in the morning, then share with us what that is. here's mine: who i am is the possibility of being lovable, vibrant and attentive. beLIeVE in yoursELF. aphrodite IP: Logged |
