Enlightenment is a funny thing, isn't it? It's sort of in the eye of the beholder. We can only view it from our own level...and just as it is impossible to truly know another without actually being him, I think it is equally impossible to judge another's enlightenment level. It's too tricky...Be that as it may, it's the differences between you and your friend, that you've pointed out, that are the crux of the problem, as I see it. It indeed may be that you and he are at different stages on the steps of life...perhaps even on different staircases. Only the two of you can decide how to get to the same place...and I would guess that can only be done with patience and understanding, and of couse desire on both parts. If all things truly do happen for a reason, if there are no mistakes, then the timing was right, perhaps a gift from which you both can gain learning and insight. If time and space are illusions, you two certainly can manifest a bridge for yourselves!

I hope things work out for you, I hope you find your way to happiness.

Lunargirl...always a pleasure! I didn't realize that you too are a writer! What's your current project?? I just completed my first novel...still a bit rough, but nearly ready for its first read from friends (-she says with some trepidation-)!

That being said...just continue to let things simmer, give them some time...and if he is truly your twin soul, if he is truly searching for higher love, he will find you, he will come back. If the timing isn't right, then you will be able to get past this, to a place where it isn't so consuming. We're Aries Warrior Women! We are eternally optimistic (even with Cancer and/or Cap moons, LOL)...and we can deal with anything life throws at us!

We're enthusiastic and want to smother those we love with affection...to paraphrase Linda in one of her books: "Congratulations, you've just been adopted by an Aries!"

I fell hard, really hard, for a triple Gemini with a moon in Sag...damn but he's an awesome guy...just not ready to deal with his emotions for me. Maybe never, in this lifetime...I can't change him, I can't convince him I'm the best thing he's ever seen (well, he knows that, just can't deal with it!)...I can't force him...I just let him be who he is. If we have a chance to make miracles in this lifetime I will be so grateful, but if not, I am so happy to have had him touch my life, he gave me so much, simple things he's not even aware he gave. And he awakened things in me that I didn't even know were there...he doesn't know it, but I have something very special planned for him one day...

Lunargirl...the genre is "Chick Book!" It's a modern day love triangle...not a 'romance' novel, but definitely something aimed towards women.
I too didn't write for years, didnt' feel I had anything to say, then didn't know how to find/say it...but finally found my inspiration and dedication and did it. Spent the last 6 months getting up at 4 a.m. to work for 2 hours on the book, before going to work...it was so worth it. We have a lot in common!

You are both right about the Gemini, he is brilliant, witty, an intellectual equal, but he intellectualizes everything, and is a lot to handle..or rather, NOT handle, might as well try to catch a will 'o the wisp...and yes, he hits that glass ceiling but feels powerless...

So much to get to! Do either of you have the sun high in your charts? In other words, were you born in the afternoon? It usually indicates interesting and unusual events in one's life, as most babies prefer to be born late at night or very early in the morning.
Oh and speaking of Celtic things, I'm fully half Irish! The other half is Italian...do either of you have pics posted on the site? I'd love to see you both...mine is there, if interested.

CS, if the lines of communication are opening, even slowly, that's HUGE! A Virgo/Scorpio who is coming back for more, even at his own slow pace, should be considered very serious. That's BIG. So get yourself a big bag of carrot sticks so you have something to chew besides your nails while you wait, and just let it be. It sounds like there are lots of good omens and signs swirling around you.

I will definitely keep you posted about my book! It's off to friends to read in a week or so (!!!), then when I get back from vacation I'll start looking for a literary agent! Wish me luck!! I'm thrilled that you're feeling inspired again, Lunargirl...what do you want to work on? Where do you think the inspiration will lead you?
