I have a story that I would like to share. It is an unusual experience for myself and I am still not quite sure what to think of it.

About 3 weeks ago, right after christmas and before new year's I was walking with my dog on a hiking trail. It began to get late and it was getting dark so I was trying to make my way back down the hill and out of the woods. I finally made it down to the road and it was freezing when from out of nowhere comes this mountain biker...I did not hear him coming till he was right behind me. He rode right past me and said, "hello there, how are you today". I, of course said nothing...I was taken by surprise by the whole thing and I was also too cold to say hello back to him. I did notice, or maybe I thought that he was very handsome, but how would I notice that...it was dusk I could hardly see anything, he had a helmet and glasses/goggles on...he went to the road and waited for his friend to catch up and then they rode off. I was left with a feeling of..."what a wonderful person I just met". It was very odd...sounds like nothing, but his energy really moved me, so much so that I went home and without thinking I wrote a post on a local site for "missed connections". A few days went by and someone wrote back...he asked me to tell him more about my experience and that he often rides with people in the area and that maybe he would know the person. I wrote back told him a couple insignificant details about the experience and told him not to bother since there are probably so many bike riders in the area that would match the description. Well, low and behold a couple days later I got an email from a guy who was asking if it was him? He told me what he was wearing and it matched what I remembered...so it was strange way to meet someone, but he told me that the person who he was riding with had found my post and forwarded it to him. He said that he thought we must have been meant to contact for it to happen like this.
Since then we have been flirting online alot(which is fun) and we have exchanged pictures. Everything that I have seen of him or how he is when I talk to him...absolutely amazing, super nice person. I can't wait to meet him, but I also feel alot of reservations about the meeting. Just because this seems so strange to me and I am so worried that something will happen to make it not be so magical.

If you have read this far...what do you think...Is it a magical thing or am I just blowing it out of proportion?
