Pixelpixie,

You were kind and did a reading for me month ago. I'm rather late, but I still want to give you some feedback.

quote:
Are you studying to be a teacher/ councellor in some way? The reading talked alot about protection---- protecting you and your ideals, making them real, believing in yourself. Does your family pressure you to live up to certain ideals, that you respect, but are not necessarily your own?

Generally speking - protection has certainly been a keyword for quite some time. I've always had some pressure from my family, but it hasn't bothered me until recently. I used to have very strong connection with someone and that friendship created a base I could retreat and find support for what I am. What makes me *me*. This connection is still here, but due to some changed circumstances I just have to have find strenght and validation solely from the inside now. It is, naturally, a good way to build character, but it also means I have to find out what my roots REALLY are and what is just something imposed to me by family. Where I stand and what I want. The protection for my core-being, dreams and faith that in my present surroundings don't support has created quite a bit of stress.
(Sun & Merc in 4th/Saturn in 8th/Moon in 12th - you got the picture LOL).

1.

quote:
You need to be self-reliant, independent and free. ... Treat your health as your greatest wealth.

It pretty much sums the situation up. Somehow, when stress builds up, I always start to eat extra healthy food, even the smell of alcohol is sickening and I can make some more time for gym.

2.

quote:
You are surrounded by pragmatism and politics.

True. Strong people with clear vision. Some ideas that can make everyone involved prosperous and hopefully happy. Trouble is that I'm involved sort of by default. (Member of the original thinktank team). I'm not sure I have much to actually contribute.

3.

quote:
The inability to choose wisely blocks progress. Do not be too picky or indescriminate in your choices of what is attractive. Affections may be misplaced. Good decision making can and must be developed.

LOL The previous comment clearly applies. Any kind of fear blocks everything, progress included.

4.

quote:
Crucial to your situation is your ability to value and communicate feelings, intuitions and dreams. Your ability to handle news of an emotonal nature is vital.

To speak out without hesitation? Creating safe environment and being there when things get truly rough with people I care about. Is it about that?

5.

quote:
in the past, you saw the benefits of building upon the work and values of others. If you took shortcuts and gambled, time was wasted. Your heritage can help you do well now. The influence of a relative or a protective person may be waning

Certainly influenced by the values of others... in the PAST! But what IS my heritage? Is it what I can recall, can see in dreams or what ...? Waning influence applies to number of people.

6.

quote:
It would be good to cope with stress and anxiety.

OK

7.

quote:
You will soon have to evaluate the wisdom of holding on to what you have. ... An executive type may be involved.

Hmmm. I think I see. Exec types... that's what they all are. No kidding.

8.

quote:
Recognize those who can help you meet the next challenge. Celebrate your victory. Show that, though you know how fleeting it is, you can do it again.

Pluto conj Asc is smiling.

9.

quote:
Others see you as a strong, faithful and disciplined person, willing to postpone short-term pleasures for long-term goals.

Oh, please, don't you fell apart (quit, etc.) has been last months' mantra. I don't feel strong at all, but somehow I've managed to stay there.

10.

quote:
You hope you can learn or teach practical informatrion and useful techniques, but fear you may not. ... You may fear, or fear for, a new business idea or an earthy person.

True! I'm both hopeful and fearful about a new business idea that would require learning in a new field. Truly practical stuff. Is it just a stupid fear or should I choose more conservative ways? My family would like the latter. I've already been accused for undue loyalty.

11.

quote:
You will encounter, or have to act like a person who knows how to be an advisor, healer or an artist. Be the ruler of your emotions, seeking to understand, not repress them. Study the life and teachings of a master or philosopher.

I'd sure would more than happy to welcome someone like that into my life. But I have this suspicious, nagging feeling that this the person I have to be myself.

Well, that sort of rambling.

As you can see your reading talked to me a LOT! I'm most grateful you took the time and shared your gift.

*hug*
