Topic: SagF and CancerM Relationship

Would anyone mind taking a look at our charts and tell me what kind of connection or what you see with us? This is a guy I met 3 weeks ago and when we first went out to dinner, we sat and talked for 4 hours, closed the restaurant. I can't explain it - it was like we were old friends catching up on the past 20 years. Lately, everytime we talk, we never run out of things to say and could talk all night (besides other things). So what's happening here? He's lived here in the U.S. for the past 30 years.
I don't have his birth time, to get his ascendant. Does having his moon in Sag have anything to do with it? My info:

Hey Blue -Took a quick glance and it's really an interesting pair. I can see why you felt familiar to each other. You both have Venus in Air Signs, and Mercury in Water Signs. His True Node is in Sag. His Moon is in Sag, but 1/2 a degree away from it being Moon in Cap, so he may feel the effects of that. Probably does. Your Asc is in Sag too. Too bad we don't know his time of birth. I dated a Cancer with Sag/Moon and he was very vindictive towards the end. We've had some discussions here about Cancer men, and I was surprised to see so many other women saying the same about experiences with Cancer men. He also has that Saturn in Scorpio, which means if he is not REALLLY evolved, he will push power plays over on you. With your funloving Sun & Asc, and Aqua Moon, I'm not sure if his Cancer Sun and this Saturn would plague you later on. Are you into all things powerful? Or are you more of a flower child? But just try to pace it so things don't move too fast. When I guy is in too much of a hurry, it's not a good sign. Especially with a Cancer with a Sag/Moon. They need their security blankets in the most literal sense. Test this in him... Cut the phone conversations down to no more than 20 minutes at a time! See if he becomes insecure. Hopefully he'll be more influenced by a close Cappy Moon, but it will still make him a bit paranoid. Hope it works out, just watch the pace no matter what...  .gloria ------------------

Hi Gloria,Thank you for taking a look - now I have a couple of questions: 1) What is the significance of his true node being in Sag?
2) With our Venus and Mercury both being in air & water signs - is that why I/we both felt a sense of familiarity?
3) Your question about my being into 'all things powerful or more of a flower child - I'm not a flower child, but not sure what you mean by all things powerful (?) : ). Do you mean understanding a higher power? thank you!

Hey Blue -There's a lot more reading you can do out there regarding North Nodes, but simply put, it's where someone is going, whereas their South Node is their "previous life experience" (which is ALWAYS in the opposite sign.) So his South Node is in Gemini, the opposite sign of Sag. You can conceptualize it by imagining that he had to learn Gemini lessons in his previous life. Now he's going towards learning Sag lessons, and carrying with him, the memories of the experiences from the opposite end (Gemini). So with you he may feel like you are a key to his "becoming". You have Sag lessons to teach him which he is here to learn.
With Venus & Mercury in same Elements, it means you can relate to your STYLE in speaking, your STYLE in attraction.
As for the "power" thing, meaning, if you place a lot of importance in someone's social stature. His chart, to me anyways, says that he does.

Hi Gloria,Thank you for the additional info! I've done some reading in this forum on Cancer men, and he definitely fits some of the descriptions. I'm not so keen about continuing this with him - he can be snappish for no reason (and it's so early in the relationship yikes!. I paid him a couple of compliments when we were out last week, and he snapped at me. I brought this up later and he says "keep giving me compliments!". But if I'm going to get snapped at for no reason, a person can't live waiting for the other shoe to drop. He's a very level-headed, knowledgeable man, but sort of unevolved, or a bit out of touch with his own issues. I do like his warmth and caring personality when the mood swings don't strike. My 2 cents is that no matter what his birth chart says to you, it takes a really long time to really get to know someone. Like, I think at the very least..a year.
