Light purple and pink are very close on the color spectrum, and everyone's rods and cones are different, so your pink is my purple and vice versa.  ------------------

Hmmmm ...Web site I'm working on has an androgenous /universal look (I hope)... So, how do I get my Web site to be named "The (Implant color of choice) Site" Like if I do it all in black, will it be known as the African-American site? Well, I dunno about you purple guys and your monitors, but I'd have to say that the majority of us (hazzard a guess at about 85%) see this site as decidely PINK. The darker colored border is like a hybrid maroon/eggplant color.IP: Logged |

We get a tremendous amount of traffic and tend to avoid much of the negativity of other bulletin boards. As many men just aren't interested in the same things (unless they have read Linda's books).------------------

Oh, there are plenty of males interested in Astrology...they're all posting over at the non-pink sites....But, I'm not insisting you change the color. In fact, I rather like being able to come here and talk about womens' issues from a woman's perspective, and not get critisized, counter-attacked, or ripped on by some macho a-hole who has no tolerance for anything even hinting at criticism toward men. I use to want more male input here, but I figure "Eh, I can just go elsewhere if I want discussions that have a more equalized level of male/female input" It's nice to have the option. IP: Logged |

This site is hardly just about "astrology." It is about many issues (astrology only being a small part) that the typical male would roll his eyes over (unless introduced to his more feminine energy by some source--like Linda). I would hope we are not known as "an astrology site." We are a Linda Goodman site, and Linda was much more than an astrologer.  ------------------
