Hi people!!
I'm really interested in aura's and haven't really had any experiences with them personally, eg I haven't ever seen some1's aura before, but I do feel people have them.
I recently got this cool book about them, and I learnt that they are the reason we instantly dislike someone or the opposite, why certain places attract us more than others, and why we feel energised being with some people and drained around others.
I suppose if u believe it u could say its the reason for intuition!! Knowing when someones bad or deceptive when they havent actually given us a reason to think that!
Auras reflect us and also the colours mean something aswell.
Also I read this is for the romantics
"Two people in love have the most attractive auras, with colours dancing in them, the two merging in one and getting enlarged, touching the heights of spirituality." Aahhhh!!!
Also I read that the aura's appearance and the intensity of the colours change throughout the day according to different situations!!
Wouldn't it be amazing if you could see every1's auras!! It would be so colourful and you could see what people's personalities were like by just by looking at them!! (Most unlike physical appearance! Humpf!!)
Has anyone else ever had any interesting experiences or have any information on Auras?

I think anyone who is naturally intuitive or psychic is AWARE of auras, whether or not they have the ability to actually SEE them. Know what I mean? Because I'm aware of them although I cannot always see them, although I receive music and colors and vibes from them, it's not like looking at a traffic light.

As you've probably read about it, you probably know why auras exist, and I think the older I get in this environment becoming so systematic and technological, that people's aura's have actually become less vibrant. The are dimmer, and that scares the living HELLL out of me.

Thanks for bringing it up

I once had my aura cleaned by a Sag, and it felt strange. I was told I have a lot of energy around my head and face. I did feel kind of dizzy but I am also very suggestible.

Thanx AJ and Natasha for your replies!

AJ- I feel I am an intuitive person, and pick up things easily; espes being a water sign, a Scorp too!! I think I remember u also being one of the 'psychic Scorps'! am I right?!, and yup, I know wot u mean about not seeing the actual Aura but like u said being 'aware' of them (I also think its really important to be aware, and always try to learn and understand about things and people ect).
Also, I know wot u mean about the Technology and superficial things growing stronger, which is not 'Nuturing the heart chakra' and emotional/spiritual love aspect of our life.... definitly everything is much more exploitive and hard (not physically) and people in general seem to be less concerned with the more loving, peaceful, positive things in life. Its very sad... and like u said scary.
PS, Im glad I brought it up too!!

Natasha- Sounds really interesting, I know wot u mean 'cause I once had a similar experiance whilst having Shiatsu with a lovely Scorp man and I felt incredibly light and happy and I could see a beautiful pale blue/white light (although I was in the conservatory so could have been the overhead window light and blue sky... but I did have my eyes shut!!) and I too felt really dizzy after, it felt very nice and calming though. Also I felt a sort of buzzing feeling around my throat (my weak point, constantly getting coughs, colds, sore throats!!) during it.
Interestingly, after he'd gone my Mum told me he came out to her after looking quite shocked and said "I saw her Chi!" which he hadnt seen before whilst giving Shiatzu to others!! Very cool!! I was reminded beacause of u and also (I guess) Chi (life energy) is a bit like Aura!

Thanx again u two for sharing!!

I'm a Libra. But I have 3 Scorpio planets, a Cancer Moon, and tons of psychic/intuitive aspects. Also, a Chiron in Pisces is in feeling the pain of the whole universe.

Sometimes we are drawn to certain auras just because we have a longing to understand it. Sometimes we want to melt into it.

Hi sun-scorpion !

I can feel auras. sometimes i can hear and smell them too. I see auras. but i don't know if it is auras because usually when i see them, they are almost like an outline around the person. some people have bigger aruas and some have smaller ones. The colors do change and shift. But and it's easier to see if they are in front of a solid color. like in fron t of a white wall or blackboard or whatever.

what you wrote for the romantics, i so appreciate that, you don't even know how much. if you go to universal codes, you'll my thread there and I talk about how whoever is near me will start to feel what i'm feeling. well, i was referring to my boyfriend at the time. whenever i would have this strange experience, the stronger it was, he began to feel it. then he would say he thought i was crazy when i'd have the "episodes," but now that was in my bubble (merging into one) he understands a little of what i mean and what i was feeling. and then i'd see his third eye opening literaaly. I felt my heart chakra spinning and spinning getting larger into the universe. it almost felt like we were in a time bubble or somthing because we, especially me, felt duality of time and eternity at once. (i don't know if that makes any sense.) Then we had instantaneous healing. we were both sick with colds and couldn't breathe thru our noses, and in a sec it was all gone. breathing the air was different too. it had a different quality. ...that's part of what happened in that incident. It was such a spiritual thing for me. I wish everyone could go feel what i felt that day and on other days. the strange thing is, is that we have alot of squares in our chart. hmm...

Pisces Girl -

I very much enjoyed reading your post, and something about the way you express yourself, or in the way you experienced those things, strikes a chord with me.

It's true about if there's a solid color behind the person. For me, it's like I "see" it more if I don't look directly at it. Know what I mean? It's like a peripheral vision within a peripheral vision.

As for your experience with the bubble, had I read that 4 months ago, I would not have been able to understand. But since a Libra guy "friend" of mine and I took things to the next level, what you've described is what I've been TRYING to describe. This is so NEW to me. I've been with some INCREDIBLE lovers in my life, but this is not lust. It's like you said, being in dual dimensions at the same time, which makes life less flat, eh?

wow astro junkie! I'm so happy that you experienced something so great! You're right: It's not lust. And nothing related to it. It's something way beyond earthly feelings that it's almost overwhelming to the 5 senses, yet the experience is singular and simple. I don't know if that makes sense. But at the same time, each moment is fluid into eternity (duality of time.)

May I ask what you experienced?

And yes I know what you mean when you say
perioheral vision within peripheral vision!

I so much would like to write about all the experiences I had in a book(s) because when I was in that state of being, everything that I said was so beautiful and inspiring. Writing on these threads has also inspired me to push myself to put my experiences on paper. I guess like Linda did.

Does anyone know how I could go about starting that?

Thank you in advance!

You mean, you want to know how to publish a book?

As for the whole bubble experience. Let's explore further. It's interesting, isn't it? All he has to do is touch me, and I get this feeling. He can run his hands through my hair, it has the same intergalactic quality as if he were making love to me. In fact, the first time he touched me that first special night, I did have an intergalactic experience, and I told him so. He was probably like, COOL! But at the same time, he's still not fully realized, I've never reacted quite that way before in my life. But you don't want to ruin the moment by going into a monologue about how you swear no one else has made you feel that way, because he may wonder if you're just saying it to boost his ego. You know?

So it's been a slow careful process of expressing all of this in a way he can understand, and not freak him out. He's a Libra like me, and neither of us likes clingy people.

I like the way you put that...

As for publishing a book - there is no one way of doing it. You might want to see if someone has done it. There is one Knowflake here who writes and publishes. I'm also a writer, and writing a book.

But over the years, I've read TONS AND TONS of information on publishing, and it's one of those neverending topics. You can just go on til the end of time because everybody is the "expert".

Start off by finding a brief list and details of all the different options one has in publishing (just the printing part). Look up using that keyword first. Then you get an idea of what's ahead of you.

The next thing I would say is, invest in the current "Writers' Market" book. A new one comes out every year, and THAT will give you an insight beyond belief. Everything from writing a professional query, to agents, to different ways to publish, to what NOT to do when submitting your work. Invaluable.
