Hi, new here I've been writing to a girl from Estonia and get on very well with her. With synastry it's known that the tighter the aspect the more effect/importance. Does anyone have any thoughts about very tight aspects and soul mates/unions? Our composite chart (below) was a surprise to me (almost exact trine between sun and moon). Any opinion of our synastry and composite charts and the tight aspects would be great The Saturn opposite Saturn I'm not sure of??? Strongest aspects for the synastry are: She has a natal conjunct Saturn/moon in virgo that's in my 1st house. Her Saturn vir 13°56' and has a very tight conjunction to my Uranus which is vir 13°49'. Her moon vir 16°03' has a tight conjunction to my Pluto at vir 15°16' and is also opposite my Saturn which is pis 15°24'. Her Sun sag 29°18' conjunct my 5th house cusp sag 29°07' Her Sun sag 29°18' trine my ASC vir 0°31' Her Mars cap 6°41' square my moon ari 6°38'. Her MC aqu 7°06' sextile my moon ari 6°38'. Her Mercury sag 7°48' trine my moon ari 6°38'. Her Jupiter leo 7°59' trine my moon ari 6°38'. Her ASC gem 26°51' trine my mars lib 27°19' Her ASC gem 26°51' square my Venus vir 26°02' Her ASC gem 26°51' conjunct my Jupiter gem 25°13' Her Venus sco 16°15' conjunct my Neptune sco 17°19' Her Venus sco 16°15' trine my Saturn pis 15°24' Her Venus sco 16°15' sextile my Pluto vir 15°16' Her Uranus sco 19°11' conjunct my IC sco 20°24' Her NN vir 21°11' trine my MC Tau 20°24' Her SN pis 21°11' conjunct my chiron pis 21°25' In our composite chart we have a very tight trine (almost exact) between sun lib 26°14' and moon gem 26°20', a very tight trine (almost exact) between ASC can 28°45' and MC pis 28°41', and a very tight sextile (almost exact) between Pluto lib 2°06' and mars sag 2°00'. Also the composite moon is at gem 26°20' so conjunct her natal ASC gem 26°51' and conjunct my natal my Jupiter gem 25°13'. The composite Sun lib 26°14' is conjunct my natal mars lib 27°19' Thanks, Nigel I was born on 16th/08/1965 at 6:50 AM in Swansea, Wales UK Helen was born on 21st/12/1978 at 4:00 PM in Tallinn Estonia. click here to view my chartclick here to view Helen's chart click here for synastry chart click here for composite chart ------------------ @ 6:50 AM Swansea, Wales, UK 3W57 - 51N38 Leo sun, Aries moon, Asc 0.31 virgo, MC 20.25 taurus ------------------------

Just by looking at the orbs I have to say that there aren't that many close orbs. The big pluses are Sun/Asc contracts for both of you. Also the venus square Neptune is usually a bad aspect to have. A's Neptune Square B's Venus The -7°36s square with Neptune is usually regarded as an unsuitable attachment based on illusion and fantasy. The initial romantic attraction with B could eventually lead to disappointment. Confusion, subtle deceptions and insincerity are just some of the factors that can destabilise your relationship. As a couple you lack practical common-sense and clear direction in life. B may come to regard you as unreliable, vague and deceptive, living with your head in the clouds. On the other hand, you may view him as materialistic, self-indulgent and lacking spirituality. Evasion of responsibility, drugs or obsessive drinking may feature in the relationship. IP: Logged |

Just one more thing. Look at your charts separately first and see if the two of you fit that way. IP: Logged |

Thanks for having a look That Neptune does have a lot of bad aspects - opposite my Jupiter, squares to my Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and Chiron The close orbs though are the ones I listed, I've done two gifs of the closest with synastry and composite. here for the synastry closest orbs here for the composite closest orbs ------------------ @ 6:50 AM Swansea, Wales, UK 3W57 - 51N38 Leo sun, Aries moon, Asc 0.31 virgo, MC 20.25 taurus ------------------------

Also look for grand kites, grand trines, or other such aspects. I didn't see any grand kites in your sinastry chart.Another thing to look for is similarities in charts. Like t-squares in both charts, or grand trines in both charts. Especially if these things are in the same element. Stuff like that IP: Logged |

NightCreature -What if two people have the same T-Square's?(although Houses placements different) Why did you say to look for those similarities? Is it a good thing, or no? Thanks. IP: Logged |

You've got me looking now NightCreature There is a grand kite with our composite chart and the composite chart is a similar shape to Helens chart, especially the aspect shapes from saturn, moon and jupiter. Helens natal chart has the planets shape in order - chiron, jupiter, saturn, moon,NN,pluto, venus, uranus, mercury, neptune, sun, mars The composite is - chiron, saturn, moon, jupiter,NN,pluto, mercury, uranus, venus, sun, mars, neptune I've got a venus, jupiter, chiron T-square in my natal. Helen has a venus, jupiter,MC T-square in hers. This also joins her chiron to make a grand square (so she has a jupiter, chiron,MC T-square too) but her venus doesn't oppose chiron. Anyone else notice anything?

astro junkie The reason to look for similar characteristics is that they are rare to begin with. How many people that you know have a grand trine in their chart? And now ask yourself how many people that you know have a grand trine in the same element? And then if the same planets are in a grand trine, then that's even better. The same goes for t-squares and kites. Thus for two people to have them is really rare. In my understanding this is usually is a soul mate characteristic. IP: Logged |

It's very interesting stuff. In the synastry my moon gives her the missing point for a grand kite - from her Mercury, Jupiter and MC to my moon Plus Her ASC is conjunct my Jupiter so joins my venus, jupiter, chiron T-square. Her sun is opposite her Asc so we make anther T-square between her sun, my venus and our cunjunct Jupiter/ASC.

That's not what I mean. If you look at your chart and see a grand trine, then if you look at her chart and see a grand trine, then that would be one characteristic. Something on these lines.IP: Logged |

Ay, I know what you mean and am glad you give some input back It's good to know what your thoughts are on other soul mate aspects. The first that I mentioned though (Strongest aspects for the synastry are) with her moon conjunct my Pluto and her Saturn conjunct my Uranus in my first house - this aspect is also sextile her Venus conjunct my Neptune and IC and it is the most significant thing I see in our charts. Can you tell me why I think this is so? IP: Logged |

Are either of you writers? Because there is a lot of air in the composite chart! The composite does not have Neptune opposite Venus as far as I can see, Neptune is not badly aspected there, any comments? I noticed Venus is in Libra in the composite, which is a pleasant placement. Composite Venus in Libra or Taurus tends to give couples who want to please each other naturally. That Libra must work well with her Venus in Scorpio, meaning she likes you and thinks you are a good balance to her usually prickly love nature. Natasha Taurus IP: Logged | |
