Being both mutable signs you are highly adaptable, restless and energetic. You lead and they follow - you think of yourself and they think of their partner. Suits everyone! It works best if Aries lady, Libra man since the male Libra tends to be a softer, sweeter person who does not mind being bossed around. The other way is slightly more problematic since Libra Ladies can be real viragos a la Maggie Thatcher and the Duchess of York. They have a fairly masculine approach to life which can clash horribly with an Aries warrior though they might make it better with an Aries Peter Pan. Not all signs get on with their opposities but this is a match often seen. Communication is good between you since both of you have bright, sparkling minds. Your fire sits happily with their airy approach to life though their slightly fastidious, sometimes snobbish outlook can cringe with embarassment at your more direct outlook. You could not care less what others think and always do precisely what suits your purposes. You will cut corners to win. Gloriously exciting, not very stable or realistic combination but one which could work because both of you have the same zany sense of humour. Both of you are scorchingly honest and truthful, interested in society and the broad scope of ideas. Neither of you is keen on being crowded or possessed and you both adore freedom. So you fit each other's foibles remarkably well. The only problem is that neither of you is very realistic so you can sometimes take off together like a hot air balloon. Can you tie a firefly down or chain a hummingbird? What you want is security, warmth, human contact. What Aries wants is freedom, adventure and the high road to places unknown. They bring out quite the worst of your controlling, possessive instincts and you make them feel a little like the heroine in Puccini's opera - a butterfly pinned to a board. Not the most ideal pairing this one. It does have its merits because you can give ballast, common sense and practicality to Aries's flyaway tendencies. If you do not mind being the anchor at home while they flit around off the leash, then it could work though it would stretch your jealousy to breaking point at times. They also give you a little zip, sparkle and chutzpah which is healthy since you are a very solid earth sign and inclined to get too stodgy if left to your own devices. But direct opposites do not often make ideal long term living relationships. Sex could be a problem since you are very physical and they are not.

Solid, so solid this combination that you might get glued to the spot and never move again. You certainly both need security, both hate change, both enjoy the good life and a good cuddle. But both of you tend to lack imagination and your vision might narrow and narrow down until you turned into vegetables. Too much practicality in a relationship is certainly better than too little. But an overdose can kill feeling, spirit, fire, passion and communication. Neither of you would question the whys and wherefores of life, love and your togetherness so you would never sort the problems out as they came along. You would expect to live your lives in the same unchanging pattern that your families have lived for generations. Constipation would probably clog romance up eventually. You would only survive together with maybe a fiery Moon connection to bring an element of danger or an airy Moon link which gave you more objectivity and dilute all that earth.

Not a match made in heaven or really suited to an existence on earth unless there are overwhelmingly compatible Moon connections. You deep, dark, secretive, power hungry. They light, bright, attention seeking and basically frightened of the emptiness in their depths. They would freak out at having to live life at the level where you feel satisfied. Both of you are hugely stubborn so the sulks would be endless and no one would want to give way first . They for fear of losing face. You for fear of losing power.
