I have had a really busy time lately, with no reprieve in sight, I feel that I haven't truly rested in days, just one thing on to another.. some fun things too, definately.. but my energy level is lacking, which is quite unusual for me.
On Sunday, we took the kids with a group of our friends to "Marineland" which is in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Alot of walking involved.. It was fun, and I got to take my son on his first roller coaster ( Gave me a chance to both supervise, making sure the 'buckles were buckled' and also reassure him, hold his hand if needed, but mostly just enjoy the rushing belly and wind through our hair. He loved it. Me too!!)
Anyway, I walked for basically twelve hours, after working on my feet for seven hours the night before.. then the next morning, I got up early for band practice ( We play our first 'gig' on Saturday.. *Wheee*) where I got an unexpected bad sunburn even though a whole day in the sun the day before, I was fine.. this was an unexpected five hour outside/garage practice, so SPF wasn't happening....
I got home, utterly exhausted, and drained, and I had to work (On my feet) in about an hour..... all I wanted to do was nap. I walked in the door.... My husband promptly took my pants off *rooowwwr* and laid me out on the couch, grabbed a towel and some massage oil, said "Have a nap" and rubbed my legs and feet until I blissfully fell into a drowsy forty five minute relief zone.
I love that man.
I just wanted to share that.
And yes, today after work, I gave him selfish (for him) sexual time.
