I was hoping someone could help me with the synastry and planets in houses between me and this guy I've been seeing. I like him SO much, and I haven't often said that about someone and meant it so emphatically . I just can't describe my feelings for him; they go way beyond anything I've ever felt before. There was instant recognition between us, and I do believe he returns my level of interest and emotion, though we haven't clearly articulated these thoughts to each other. See, I'm new to all of this so I know a little but not a whole lot...I've been doing some reading (and I've discovered the great site, www.astro.com) but it's not so easy to understand when it's explained academically, you know what I mean? I've had a hard time putting this all in context. So any and all help or insights you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated!

As you can see, we don't really share a whole lot of signs. I don't really know if that's bad, since I've read that conjunctions between charts are pretty important. Also, I've read about Eros & Psyche, but I don't know how important they are or what they mean (just that they're related to love & romance), either. Same goes for the Vertex and Juno. I'm getting familiar with some of the terminology, so I know some of the aspects we share (from astro.com) synastrically are:

I know there's more, but these seem to be the ones that stand out to me. I don't understand what any of these aspects really mean; except that I know my sun being opposite his can be good for a partnership, and I know that my moon square his sun is supposed to be very bad (honestly, I don't feel the negative energy from that at all - I feel the attraction implied by such an aspect but no negativity - could this be because my own sun squares my moon?).

Oh yea, I looked up our composite chart (something I know even less about):

I'm very interested in learning more, and I know my feelings for this guy are very strong, quite possibly stronger than I've ever experienced, and I just want to learn more...

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your insights. I've only gotten more into astrology in the last 6 months/year, and I've just been reading what I can...but I haven't really put any of it together, know what I mean? I have no other friends into this stuff, so I can't compare notes, so to speak. That's why I am very glad I found this board.

And what you said makes sense - he's got A LOT of Scorpio energy, but he's very...I don't know how to describe it...private, I guess. I guess that's because Mars & Venus are in his 12th, right? Would that make him have some Piscean vibe, too? I mean, with regards to Mars & Venus love/lust styles...since the 12th house is the house of Pisces. Also, his Neptune is in his first house...would that give him a Piscean vibe as well? And that's where my Neptune falls in his chart, I just noticed. My Neptune is in his first. That's kinda weird - is that bad? Oh, and his Mars falls in my first house - could this be why I find him so sexy? Or how do the planets work in the houses, exactly? Like, would he be the one most affected by his Mars being in my first house or would I? I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but like I said, I have no one to bounce ideas off of!

He's been a fantastic lover and an awesome friend. I really dig his Gemini energy - we can talk endlessly - though that might have something to do with the good Mercury aspects we have, too. I also love his earthiness...I really crave that in my life. I'm all over the place sometimes (I live so much in my head). He is very reserved, though - I guess it's all that Scorpio. Sometimes almost inscrutable. We haven't really talked about our feelings for each other...I've mentioned it briefly, and he just smiled really wide, his eyes lit up, and he kissed me (he's the best kisser). Other than that we've been very chummy friends who have sex and spend as much time together as we can. I love introducing him to new music/art/movies. My tastes are extremely eclectic , and he's kind of staid sometimes, you know? But he's always been fascinated by whatever I introduce him to. Music & art, especially. I'm an artist myself, and I love dragging him to art shows and museums...earlier this summer I took him to the Romare Bearden exhibit (this collage artist I really love) in Dallas and it was fun...he wanders around looking so reverently overwhelmed. And with music, I like so many different things...and I know what he's into, a lot of chick rock and folksy stuff and indie, yada yada yada...and I absolutely adore discovering new female artists to introduce him to. Like, he didn't know Cat Power until I played him the albums Moon Pix and You Are Free. He of course loved her (she does have this great voice). He says he really likes that I know SO MUCH, and that I have a photographic memory. He totally over-estimates my good qualities...it's like I walk on water or something, which I find sweet, but of course, this could be because the relationship is still kind of new between us. I like that I can live in my head so much with him, that we can spend hours together wandering around downtown Fort Worth and exploring old buildings, talking, playing with the turtles in the fountain, forgetting time -- but I also like that he makes me live in my heart, too (something I have felt a little uncomfortable with before - even with my Pisces Sun). I've felt that pull that others here have described, sometimes in my gut, when I am around him. I'm supposing that this has something to do with Pluto/AC aspects (which we have) - I think I read that somewhere.

Anyway, I've babbled too much about him, I suppose. I don't want to be too boring, and I am not fond of sentimentality, really (maybe just a wee tiny bit - do have that Pisces Sun, after all). I just miss him, actually. He's in Germany til the end of the year with an internship (he left a few weeks/month ago)...the Aquarian part of me (which I believe is a strong part of my personality - I just got a new book and it talks about Sun/Moon midpoints and their importance to the central personality...and mine is 12.5° Aquarius - I just realized, his is 11° Sagittarius, and Sagittarius is my moon sign!) is super happy for him, and wants only the best for him. I am GLAD that he's in Germany, because this helps his career. I'm just a little sad for myself, because I sure do miss his company. I don't know where the relationship will go, but I can't wait until he gets back and we can spend time together doing everything and nothing...again.
