Does anyone out there have sun conjunct their neptune in scorp (mines in 8th house). If so, how does it affect them - the only way I can describe it, is that a lot of the time i feel "naturally stoned" and of course am the eternal tragic romantic. My friends nickname for me is "the love woman" - does this sound familiar to any of you? Oh yeah and my venus also also conjuncts sun and nept - is there any hope for me????????? x x x x IP: Logged |

LOL...My Ascendant is conjunct my Neptune in Scorpio which is also in my First House. It doesn't really make me completely feel like I'm stoned all the time, but I think I know what you mean. I am a total and complete dreamer. The trick is - as you get older - you will learn to control it and use it to your advantage. You are a Scorpio, you can do anything you want to do! Controlling your dreamy and romantic mind take some practice, but when you are successfull, you can really use this to your advantage. I can't tell you how, because each person is different. wow, sue......with Venus and in the 8th???
VERY intense!!I also have Sun conjunct Neptune in Scorpio....although mine is in the 7th house.....and my Sun sign is Sagittarius (O degrees). Naturally stoned. lol. Yup.
I float through a day on daydreams a lot of the time. Mind on a cloud.
I can be practical when the moment calls for it.....but it's not my natural state to be that way.
LOVE is ALL.  (7th house accentuated) There is great yearning for highly romanticized and idealized Love. Poetry, Romance....the kind of honorable sacred Love of fairytales. Therefore an emptiness within me that never feels fulfilled.
Longing, Longing forever for an unattainable reality.  Can you relate?

Longing, Longing forever for an unattainable reality. Can you relate? My 7th house is loaded, sun, venus and merc there, plus I have pisces rising, I can so realte to what you wrote. It seems that no matter who we are with, there is this lonliness that is searching for that special someone who knows our soul at it's deepest level. Of course in reality this person probably doesn't exist. But still we must keep searching. It is the love of fairy tales as you say. A princess waiting to be rescued by her prince.

Longing, Longing forever for an unattainable reality.." Couldn't have said it better myself! I also have Venus in the 12th house. There's no hope for me! If it weren't for my Sun-Merc-Nept in the 10th house, plus a nice little sextile between Saturn and my Sun, I'd be floating around all the time. My mind will always be blurred by Neptune- but my biggest challenge is to tap into my mind's FOCUS- which I know must be in that mist somewhere! My Mars is also in Virgo in the 8th which gives me that "shoom!" (picture a pair of Scorpio eyes suddenly burning right into you and not letting go) kind of focus. But sue- try to enjoy it a little! Sun-Neptune people are kind of like radio transmitters- we pick up whatever everyone around us is putting out- and it can be quite a gift. Just remember to tune out the stuff that doens't serve you. And enjoy your daydreams! They're practically reality anyway! IP: Logged |

WOW!!!!! I have it really bad my neptune is in Scorp and I am a Pisces sun. Vey very
dreamy you hear me. I was really really bad when I was younger so I do undersatnad that totally. I have learned how to somewhat control things. But now and again I too feel like I am high on something.. LOL!!!! And I do pick up on so many things it is almost like I can read minds sometimes I just tell myself to stop it. My specialy is body language though. You can just about blink sometimes and I will know. Deep Stuff!!!!! IP: Logged |

To all you guys and gals that replied to my sun conj neptune questions, thanks a million for all your very interesting comments, and to the sweet one that said " as you get older you will learn to control...... (i think it was miss muffet), well I am gonna turn 46 soon, maybe its something to aim for in retirement, or maybe i just like being this way really. one of my greatest friends, is a Sun/Merc/Neptune Scorpio. Mars in Cancer. She's beautiful, intelligent, WITTY, perceptive as hell, and most of all, hopelessly romantic... and everywhere she goes- I swear, EVERYONE is mesmerized by her. Males, especially, but females too. Most of the scorps I know, including myself, are acutely aware of the effect we have on others, both positive and negative. Most of the scorps I've known, though, are pretty conscious and open-hearted ones. IP: Logged |
