I'm a newbie to Lindaland hoping for some insight into my relationship. My love interest and I have been on and off for almost a year.

There are no real problems in our relationship, it just seems that we tend to move really fast and it scares us both and so we back off or more usually I get scared and back off a bit. I don't know what it is between us, its just the weirdest connection either of us have ever experienced. I hesitate to use the term soul mate's, but there is something between us that's very strong.

My question's, if anyone can help me from an astrological perspective... why do i feel so incredibly connected to him? does my hesitation or cautiousness drive him nuts? and can a taurus and virgo be a good match?

I don't have his chart information. but, I do have a chart that was done for me a few years ago and I will post the info below. Hope someone knows how to read it:

Are you a female Taurus?
Taurus tends to be cautious at the start so possibly you are the one that is scared of moving to fast but you used the we to be more diplomatic?

That is a normal emotion to have,
Mercury in Gemini would like to anazlye the relationship, but you are with a Virgo so do you two talk, I wonder if you are doing enough talking.

Other than that Venus in Cancer and Moon in the 2nd would make you even more cautious and hesitant and your partner will have to respect that. I have an off and on again boyfriend who has those two placements. He is really uncomfortable with any forward progression of the relationship and assumes I feel it too. I have accepted that, and I know I don't feel it as much.

Venus in Cancer holds on to memories, if you channel this into an art form, you will feel more secure in your relationships.

Soulmates? Good but even soulmates have ups and downs,

I am a female taurus and yes I was being diplomatic, lol.
When we move too fast, I feel uncomfortable and pull back a bit, that is one thing that drives my virgo crazy.

We do talk, maybe I could be more talkative. Although, I am not much of a deep talker, so he tends to take command of most of the important conversations. I know he would truly love if I said more about how I feel. That's something I am working on doing this weekend. Yes, it takes that long for me to figure out how, lol.

You are right, much like you're boyfriend I initially assumed that my virgo felt similarly cautious. Although, I now know that to not be true. If we could be married right now, he would be comfortable with that.

I do love him so much and want to be with him forever. Its just difficult for me to say it.

Thank you, I do write, draw, and paint. I have also found exercise to be a great reliever of negative emotions.

I will definitely have to go pick up "love signs" again and read more about virgo and taurus in a relationship. I just want to be aware of any potential problems.

only problem is, this whole week my thinking and talking has been muddled. i can't think clearly about anything. every thought is hazy. would that be due to mercury going retrograde?

Then state your points, which there are only a few, and make sure to touch him gently on the arm to make sure he knows you are still human.

The trick is to stick to one or two points.
That's it, don't get sidetracked.

Something to drink might help, something warm.

I think telling him i'd like to talk and share, specifically using the word share would be a wonderful opening to the conversation. and yes, he always does all of the talking. lol. I will try to pipe in a bit though.
