Maybe you are projecting a certain image? If so, you will have to analyze that image with a friend, preferably an air sign or air moon with lots of virgo. Or perhaps you have a reserve that men want to break down romantically because you are actually too much of a friend?Clarity in motives and intentions will help you.
Find out who and what's most important to you, with your friends and the new people you meet and prepare what you want to project.
Once you have done this, anything anyone else is projecting onto you, is their problem.
I believe this is an issue with Mars/Pluto ruling Venus, I have Venus in Aries, and some men have a tough time seeing past my body. But that's not all men. There is usually an aspect from their Mars to my Venus for that.
Just tell yourself it's not a problem, just a challenge, and you didn't start this!
