Hola peeps! I'm a newbie although I've been reading a lot of your posts the past few months and I was hoping someone could give me insight or maybe even just a little desperately needed perspective. Sparing you all the gory details I've experienced 2 major heartbreaks (Aquarius and Cancer Suns) within the past 2 years all because of the fact that I befriended who I thought was "the sweetest person I have ever met" who in the end just used me for the neverending attention and devotion I have given to them. I swear the older I get I seem to be coming to the realization that basic human nature IS evil. I try to brighten the days of whomever I come in contact with (strangers included) and I'm the one that ultimately ends up with the gloom and dispair. Here's my chart, any thoughts? Much Appreciated!

Just wanted to say that i have found basic human nature is not evil. I feel sometimes people are brought into our life to teach us what we don't want and shouldn't put up with. Or sometimes we teach/help them to become a better person. I mean, how could we truly know what we want, without having personally experienced or learned from someone else's experince's of the "bad" side? just some food for thought. Good luck though. Your descendant is Libra. Your decendant shows where and how you merge with people and want to please them basically. Since it's in Libra, you are a strong people pleaser in relationships, and get lost, your identity has trouble staying firm.Be sure to do things to make your identity stronger, for yourself often. Those you can trust have a Libra/Taurus or Venus influence. This is true of myself as well in relationships, and my descendant is conjunct my sun in Taurus. Remember you deserve emotional support for your projects too. I find Cancer and Aqua men draining too! Welcome and Take Care,

Hey guys thanks for the responses. I realize that human nature is not really evil, I'm just getting a bit frustrated that I am continuously being duped by people. I do think this is just another one of life's lesson for me though I am wondering when this "experience" I'm gaining is actually going to pay off. sthenri- I never heard of the descendent thing, I am still educating myself and am slowly working my way through the planets. Does that mean that a woman with Libra or Taurus in Venus would be ideal or should that be Mars since I am a male? IP: Logged |

You would work well with a Libra or Taurus female, or one with Venus in Libra or Taurus. Maybe if the aspects are right moon in Libra, those are people you can trust. We are not always attracted to those we trust, I know. Your Venus represents the women in your life, the Mars, the men. A woman's mars only shows how she gets assertive, it does not show what kind of woman she will be in the relationship. Her venus will tell you her love nature with you. Yes the Descendant shows where you are not ego driven, a Sun conjunct descendant shows a tendency to help people all through life, a gallery owner, therapist, Spa owner, masseuse, all good professions to be in. Descendant in Gemini, would not only attract Gemini moons or venus, but would make you attracted to Gemini professions and places. You may like to travel for a living, or work in electronics, or writing. Most importantly you nurture your friends and yourself through those occupations and activities. These are your friends and associates, and struggles not so much your mate in life, but people you trust or distrust. Look at the planet closest to your descendant.
My sun is right on the line, about 3 degrees from the descendant in Gemini. But I am more Taurus in the way I deal with people, I relate through therapy, cooking, artwork. I attract many Gemini Moons, Virgos, Virgo Venus, Virgo Ascendants, Gemini Ascendants, Libra and Taurus suns, and ascendants, and maybe one or two Taurus moons. I really believe the ideal mate for Libra moons are Taurus moons. Hope this helps, it's not a detriment to have a soft heart, it's a gift. So in my case would that mean that a Libra Sun or Venus would be more compatible than the typical response that Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces are good for a Pisces Sun? IP: Logged |

Yes, I would say that, or Libra in any of the personal planets. Every chart is different, remember, you are made up of 12 houses, you are not just one dimension.Natasha

WOW Sthenri!That was amazing! I have also my descendant in Gemini and I canīt agree more with you about loving to travel for a living, dedicating to electronics and writing... I went to work in the UK and now that Iīm back home Iīm looking forward to getting a job that allows me to travel abroad. I studied electronics as part of my degree and I loved it. When I was younger I wanted to be a writer and I used to write poetry and short novels for fun... Isnīt it that amazing!!! I also read that the descendant shows what you like and look for in a partner... So that would mean I need mental stimulation and an interesting and bright multifaceted partner. Someone who never stops surprising me and takes me traveling. Monotony would kill me... am I right? How does my Cancer Mars (as a woman) in the 7th house affect that? And a Saggitarius Moon conjunct with my Ascendant? Jupiter is also in my 7th house... IP: Logged |

Natasha I have an Aries descendent, So does that mean I get attracted to people who are active? or have their moon or Venus in Aries? Coz it's true, I was attracted to a guy who has a moon in Aries for the longest time. Major Chemistry. I hope I got that right!IP: Logged |

Steelrose, call me Natasha,Yes I agree, monotony scares you off, and he would have to be bright and interesting, not necessarily a Cancer, having Mars and Jupiter there, mean that Cancers, Aries, Sags make good friends, and associates but not always romantic partners. Your ideal mate would have some Gemini in the personal planets and relationships are very important to you. I hope you get to travel again soon! Moon conjunct Ascendant in Sag is great, you will attract warm and loving people, but mobility is very important too. Mystic, yes Aries in the personal planets would mean major chemistry and friendship later if nothing else develops. Of course if your descendant is close to a planet that is opposite your mars for example, there may be difficulties, but in general this holds true. For me that's what's how it is, my descendant's closest planet is opposite my mars, so my relationships with men are important, but difficult, there is fighting and power struggles if they think they are the boss, so I see saw between taking the back seat and fighting about it. More and more in my life I am learning to take it easy and be less bossy, but also assert my real needs. There is the danger of less identity around men because of the mars opposition, so its' always a good idea for everyone to look at the planet closest to the descendant and go from there. That is a clue to where the difficulties lie in your relationships. I have learned to listen to others so much, it's practically my profession
listening to others, and interpreting what they are trying to say. That's why I speak three languages, I am constantly trying to listen. I am sure who ever I end up with will want to be understood, be very secure, and I will have to do a lot of listening without fighting or trying to feel more significant in the relationship. Natasha

Thanks Natasha!!!That was great! I actually tend to attract many Aries, mainly as friends... I never knew that it could be due to my Mars in the 7th house... Is Cancer what makes them good for friends/associates but not partners? I will consider the Gemini influence in potential partners next time... Itīs funny because my sister is a Gemini and I always found her volatile (many friends but none true) and thought I could never put up with a man that way, with such lack of intensity, passion and dedication.
