In Relationship Signs, Linda says that if one personīs venus is conjunct with anotherīs pluto, that indicates Twin Souls or Soul Mates, people who were once the same individual, one half being the male half and the other the female. They have an innate longing for the other and, from lifetime to lifetime, the unite to feel the joy of completion.

I know a man whose Venus is in conjunction with my Pluto and certainly thereīs a Silver Cord between us. I havenīt felt for anybody else what I feel for him. I believe our souls are twin.

However, since Pluto moves so slowly, that means that it would spend several months in the proximities of the position of his Venus...

Does it mean that there are potential hundreds of women who are his twin soul???

In synasty, aspects are usually +/- 1 degree. Therefore as fast as Venus moves through the charts, not as many Venus's are conjunct Pluto as you might expect.

Venus Conjunct Pluto indicates a strong, intense, romantic, sexual attraction between the two of you. This aspect indicates that your relationship will have a regenerative effect on you the both of you. There will be a mutual appreciation of spiritual and artistic values.

Oh, yes... Linda also talks about the trine as a sign for Twin Souls... She only says that the conjunction is much more powerful...

With the trine (or sextile), the pair of you may choose to wait until another incarnation to reunite even when mutual feelings will be very intense... With the conjunction, postponement is very unlikely.

Pardon my ignorance, but does would this mean that Venus square Pluto would indicate just the opposite feelings?

No, I wouldnīt say that... Not the opposite feelings... That person wonīt be your anti-Twin

A square shows tension and friction... Between one personīs Venus and the otherīs Pluto would mean power struggles related to sex and love, misunderstandings... Trouble...

The conditions of deep understanding and belonging to each other, the magnetism and chemistry when the aspect is positive, would turn difficult...

Linda says that Pluto may be demanding and imposing, upsetting Venusīemotional stability. Problems may be kept secret until some event forces them to surface. Adjustements in sexual relationships may be required. Difficulty in parenting or raising children may cause stress as the personal values of both may be different.

This aspect may be a strain on the relationship as both should work hard: Venus should allow Pluto more space to be alone and Pluto shoud be gentler with Venus. Even so, there will be friction.

That doesnīt make a person the opposite to your Twin Soul... I think it also shows a karmic bond... Itīs not one to attract you to each other, to reunite you... Itīs one to learn tolerance or accept differences.

Maybe that person is also tied to your past lives (due to Pluto)emotionally (Venus) but not as a Twin Soul (your other half)... As someone you knew and had something pending with...

In our synastry my venus is trine my boyfriend's pluto and his venus is conjunct my pluto. Any special indications for this? I mean on one hand it looks like there is a soul connection between him and me but a less strong one between me and him? Pardon my ignorance! Just wondering if there are any special implications here. Thanks!

Steelrose,

Thanks for your reply. Funny -- you began asking a question, and ended up answering all of ours in the process!

Peace to you,
Odessa

Future_uncertain, thatīs great! According to Linda thatīs a powerful sign that the both of you could be Twin Souls! I donīt think one of you feels that more intensely than the other... Those aspects affect you as a couple... I donīt know enough though, maybe the Pluto in conjunction is more aware of it, feels it more... But anyway, you probably tied for eternity, and even someone (or something) tries to come between yo and appears to succeed temporarily, wait. Youīll be back together no matter what as if you had been bounced back by a mysterious force... Thatīs what Linda says...

Have a look to
Someone in this forum directed me to it... http://astrology.about.com/od/beyondsunsigns1/a/soulmate.htm?terms=astrology+soul+mate

Your combination is what the author calls “double whammy” for that special karmic sign: powerful Pluto (rebirth) and Venus (love). Have you got any other karmic conections? Remember that aspects have to be really close... One or two degrees apart at the most...

But above all... How do you feel? Your soul knows better than anyone... When you met him, did you feel something extraordinary? Did you trust him straight away? Can you talk without words? Do you feel his pain almost physically? Can you live away from each other? Do you believe he will never be able to hurt you? Imagine that he does, terribly, doing something that you wouldnīt forgive, would you be able to forgive him? Would you still want to stay with him? Can you imagine life without him?

I know, Odessa... I donīt really mind... Itīs great to share knowledge... Sometimes I ask questions, some others I reply... I think thatīs the best way to learn, trying to give answers...

Hey Lanny,

"as Venus moves through the charts, not as many Venus's are conjunct Pluto as you might expect"

I was just wondering...so then if my Pluto's at 6'37 deg Scorp and my friend's Venus is at 6'33 degrees would that be a pretty rare occurance? I always thought, like Steelrose, that it could happen with quite a few ppl..and that made it seem less important to me.

Also is it a more definite indication of a karmic connection if the degrees are very close?

TY , aries-chick

Good morning everyone.

Sorry, but I have more questions and not answers lol. Does the venus/pluto conjunction only count if it is within the 2 degrees? I'm asking because my pluto conjunct's his venus at 6 degrees, but his pluto square's my venus at 4. So since they are both over 2 degrees should I just disregard them both?

Okay, Venus and Pluto's connection with lovers is one thing... What about between parent and child? It can't neccessarily mean the same thing... right?

i have only a personal story to relate. my venus is conjunct my first loves pluto. his venus is trined my own pluto.

we have never forgotten one another and always come back, even when we are married, etc. the bond is absolutely unbreakable for us.

at some point i have tried (unsucessfully)to cut the psychic bond and NO GO.

so, you may as well resign yourself to this connection... i have )

As I indicated ealier in this thread, synasty uses +/- 1 degree arcs. 2 or 4 degree aspects should be ignored.

Of course this is only my take on it, I've been married and divorced twice so I can be wrong.

lanny are you suggesting that unless its within 1 degree orb, it does not make an aspect?

thanks, still learning

okay I have a question? Its not synastry related but I just looked at my chart and mine alone. I have a venus trine pluto ... can I expect things to be the same as described here, or is it totally different since ya'll were talking synastry?

Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the moon and venus square someones pluto in synastry? For me it has resulted in a very intense connection with the person, but not a very happy one. It's very unfortunate. It's as though we are stuck with each other for life and beyond.....but we have a sort of love/hate relationship. Are these the characteristics of such aspects? We have other uniting aspects and were at one time very much in love, but.......time has a way with things. Are we doomed to play out all of the ugly sides of these squares? It's my moon/venus, and his pluto. It's been torture frankly. Help please, anybody.

Lovely, thats right, unless it is within a 1 degree arc it isn't considered to be in aspect.

Arana- I don't know if this will help you but I had a venus/pluto connect (I talked about it earlier) it doesn't really count as an aspect (its higher than 1 degree), but his venus conjuncts my pluto while my venus squares his pluto. And we have started the intensity (both good and bad), it's a love hate relationship, but we also have some other aspects that create an off again/on again kind of thing (uranus), and we also have venus/saturn connections and mars/saturn connections.

I personally use a 3-degree orb in Synastry (and everything else).

...but then again, I'm easy.

Hi everyone...

I have a question in regards to this aspect.

My mother and her NEW partner, have this aspect, very tightly conjoined.

Anway, this is quite lovely, BUT, his Mars, and her Venus, are in complete oposition.

The energy is so intense, it's either passion, or hostility.

What does this say karmically?

And does any one have any insights, incase Im missing a valuable point?

Neokitty... Iīm not an expert but letīs see what Linda thinks about it... She says in Relationship Signs that the sexual chemistry between them is very strong, so much that it could lead to indiscretions, jealousy and promiscuity... Excesive sexuality could destroy harmony and they will need plenty of positive aspects to dilute the effects of this one...

There could be clases of temperament and tempers, periodic annoyance and hurtful words. Mars (the one of them whose Mars is opposing the othrīs Venus) could feel at times feel smothered by Venusīpossessiveness, or by the way Venus takes unintentional hurt so seriously. Venus can be deeply wounded by Marsīsometimes rash behaviour or thoughtless speech.

Mars should try to tone down that tendency to domineering behaviour and Venus curb that unnecesary oversensitivity. If they want their love to last, they will need to subdue latent urges to promiscuity, protect and nourish the relationship and control overemotional reactions... Linda says this vibration is a soul test.
